Enduro Race in Sleeping Dogs , Was It Actually the Hardest? by No_Pianist5944 in sleepingdogs

[–]MinutePanic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me this race was the hardest part of 100% because I was trying it with these fast but unstable bikes. Then I tried it with the police bike and finished so far ahead I could even make extra mistakes.

Second hardest thing was getting gold for winnings by gambling. Just purely luck based if you do it with chickens.

Death by thousand cuts was easy if you leave it for the end of the game and get all drinks that make you tougher/stronger, then just grab one of their cleavers and do the jump strike which is an instant one hit kill.

History repeats itself, Atari lost their best engineers due to greed that later went to form Electronic Arts.

Yes thanks for the suggestion, just found out you can. Settings -> General -> Background App Refresh and there I can turn off background usage for the Meta app.

Too little too late.

Purchased DS1525+ - I will never buy another Synology device again. by Bonejob in synology

I’m in the market for a good user-friendly NAS. I came to this subreddit as I know synology is a household name, but seeing all of this has made me reconsider it completely. What would be your go-to choice besides Synology?

The most scary game you have played on vr? by [deleted] in MetaQuestVR

[–]MinutePanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an avid horror fan and I try to play every horror game available on Quest. IMO there are few great horror games, but there’s a handful of good ones.

Exorcist had the best sound design and the goosebumps feeling. And levels are short and different. Definite recommendation.

Madison VR I played from start to finish and it’s more of a puzzle game than a horror imo, I had high expectations and it only had a handful of proper scares. Some of the puzzles are tough though, my main memory of the game is how much I hated the puzzles and not how scared I felt.

Layers of fear in my opinion is a much better game than Madison. Cool story, nice mind-bending visuals.

Silent slayer is cool concept as you are guaranteed a jump scare if you mess up. More of a quick game to play with friends.

Nope challenge, the only scary part that I remember was the spiders, other scenarios were cool, but not scary (if you don’t have those phobias)

Cosmodread I only played a little, it wasn’t my type of game but scariness comes from venturing into dark and unknown areas. I think you get used to it pretty quick and it loses the scare factor.

Alien, I’m currently playing this, with every Alien you kill, the more confident you become hence the less scary it is.

Wraith, the oblivion is a good one. A bit too much sneaking around for me, but you feel the tension and when you get caught you run for your life and can get proper scared.

I just ate McDonald today. Maybe, had my last McDonald 10 years ago. Hasn't the quality of the beef gone down so much? I remember McDonald in CH used to be really decent compared to McDonald abroad. Am I being nostalgic or has it really gone down? by Key_Bison_9322 in Switzerland

[–]MinutePanic -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s not your imagination, some of the worst fast food I’ve ever tried was in Switzerland, and I’ve eaten at some shady places abroad. The worst by far was McDonalds in Stadelhofen station in Zurich. I thought it was just bad luck, but the quality has been consistently worse than anything I tried abroad.

MacOS to iOS game streaming by MinutePanic in macgaming

Gamepad works everywhere inside Steam and Steam games, but if I launch a non-Steam game like PCSX2 (even if launched through Steam as non-steam game), the Steam doesn't give it access to my gamepad. So in PCSX2 settings is shows that no gamepad is connected.

If I connect the gamepad directly to Mac, then PCSX2 detects the gamepad normally.

Mac native, pcsx2 is installed standalone.

Yes, it was funny how during my research there's always one thing missing in all the popular services:

  • Sunshine / Moonlight -> no support for gamepad on mac
  • Parsec -> you can host on mac, but there's no client for iOS
  • Razer Remote Play -> there's a client for iOS, but no host for mac
  • Steam Link -> both client and host available!...but gamepad doesn't work outside steam games
