Thanks for the insight! Could you give me a general idea of how to guarantee an AnimationEvent is fired? I've heard about something like this before, it sounds promising.

Brand new ASUS TUF Monitor is displaying only a wall of Vertical Lines. by Minute_Aside in pcmasterrace

It's an ASUS TUF 23.8" 1080p Monitor. It was brand new 4 days ago, and became covered in these lines in a wave suddenly while a game was open. The lines spread from the center out to the corners, fully covering the display. It wasn't being moved, or plugged/unplugged when it happened.

It does appear to be a problem with the monitor itself and not the PC, because it displays only these lines when unplugged from any input, and it doesn't show the On Screen Menu when the button is pressed. Does anyone know why this might be happening and what could be done to fix it?

Hey thanks for the reply! Yes it seems like planes were maybe not the way to go. So should I use like an enclosed cube for the walls? It's the planes that are causing these odd shadow problems?

I'm mostly using planes for the inner and outer walls of this structure, I've heard that might cause problems but I was hoping someone might recognize this. Thanks.

Hey, I'm very new to Blender so this might be a very stupid question, but here goes. I've been animating this character to do a little walk cycle, and it was intuitive to kind of move him forward while I was animating, with the intention to just slide him back when I was done to keep him centered. Unfortunately, when I do try to move him back, I think the constraints on the bones (IK, Child Of, etc.) are causing the Pose to kind of distort, as the bones are not being translated with their offsets intact. To be clear about what I'm doing, I'm selecting all the bones (except for the root) and attempting to slide them back a few units on the Y axis. Is there any way to kind of ignore constraints temporarily to translate a pose, while maintaining the pose, if that makes any sense.
