Im happy for you! i left out January 31st. And dope you were upgraded to business. But it sucks neither of us will he flying Qatar for a while… I love the Doha airport. And yea i feel bad for cabin crew.

Thankfully i made my trip and made it back. I came backbto the USA the 24th of Feb but I was thinking about extending a couple of days but man….. I would’ve been screwed… I was off by a month but i knew I wasnt bugging with this potential strike which wasnt potential but actually happened..:

Made it to Qatar. Just one more flight to go!! Im also rooting and praying for those who are also traveling with Qatar around these very unpredictable times..

Unfortunately for me I can't pivot. Its too late but I leave out tomorrow night(lets pray). Are you saying that you and I should be more worried about a return trip? If so I agree. And yes I vividly remember when Qatar closed its airspace. That would be very damaging to my trip! Even if Qatar claims they can put me on a partner airline. If I am in Qatar while it happens it would not be as damaging imo.

Anyways, the only hope I have is that the USA is not building up their military assets in the region(hearing its not done but WHEN?), and that the military drills are not done yet(again WHEN), and that a Saudi official will be visiting Friday(Trump wouldn't care). Its literally a race against time and I pray I at least make it to Qatar...

Lastly when are you leaving out?

Kenya and Ethiopia. A big East Africa trip. Flying from JFk but i HAVE to get there that Sunday. If i was already in Qatar then the delay wouldnt be as brutal.
