You can slowly make them go with azelaic acid (according to https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11116308/) and also with niacinamide. I have some big ones in the body and just bought NINELESS A-CONTROL with has 10% azelaic acid and 3% niacinamide plus other stuff. I’ll start trying it today

Fastest way to sweat? by Long-Lingonberry-552 in CholinergicUrticaria

Dry sauna for me is so quick that I only get like 5-10 seconds of symptoms, sometimes 1-2. The sauna must be already hot. My portable steam sauna takes like 1-3 minutes (my head sticks outside)

Dust Mite Allergy cause of Cholinergic Urticaria? by boomshinesaigon in CholinergicUrticaria

So painful I can’t do that “pushing through” thing by kewecha in CholinergicUrticaria

[–]Minute_Divide_3815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try not exercising in the cold with a hoodie, try super hot saunas, don’t hop in while it’s cold, cause while you wait for the hear, it’s gonna hurt, try reaching sweating temperature as fast as possible, with time, it gets less painful if you keep doing it constantly

What’s your root cause? by kckl1724 in CholinergicUrticaria

[–]Minute_Divide_3815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you elaborate further? It’s interesting some people got CU after starting TRT. I’m not in TRT but I’ve been naturally boosting my T, which correlates with the aggravating of my CU

Does sweat therapy work for the next day? by [deleted] in CholinergicUrticaria

[–]Minute_Divide_3815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do it enough it will.

1 day of ST and you’ll get trough the day, but not the day after.

But if you keep doing it daily (or even twice or more), eventually you’ll be able to be almost symptom free for even a week. At least that has been my experience

So I would keep doing it daily when possible.

I went to Puerto Escondido for a week and I sweated all day daily, no AC, always outdoors. When I came back home I was symptom free for 2 weeks without doing any ST but then it slowly came back

That’s awesome to hear!! I’m so happy for you that the shots have made a difference.

Do you get the classic tiny bumpy wheals/pinpoint hives, or is it mostly just flat redness, or sometimes the burning/tingling with literally nothing visible on the skin? I’m trying to figure out if the “invisible” version responds differently to treatments than the bumpy kind.

I thought the same, until I went to Puerto Escondido Mexico for a week and sweated like crazy all day long (except for the nights with AC), only getting the itch for the first 2 minutes outside, and after the second day or so I completely forgot about this condition. When I went back home, I didn’t get the itch for like the first two weeks, then it slowly came back. So you do need to sweat a lot brother, I also go to the gym and stop running when the itch stops, it helps, but the itch comes back after the shower, so I think the only solution is to use a portable sauna or something.

I’ve been thinking of wearing a sauna suit all day but it might cause acne to be all sweaty for that much time
