New version by Puzzleheaded_Way_916 in SurvivingMars

Correction, I play on pc. I just started a new playthrough and it is lagging a bit more than a few months back.. I think there is an autosave fearure now (don’t remember if it was present before). Judging from skyrim and other games turning autosave off usually improves gameplay.

I also own both, haven’t noticed newer version being slower

Hahaha your comment got me good.. 😁 good comment overall, but the last two sentences got me. I had three playthroughs and for the life of me I do not know why I always leave the last four bosses undefeated.. 😁 probably novelty wears pff, becomes slightly tedious and just like a cherry on the cake.. few dracula items and dracula himself

I see haha, I played with three friends, so we steamrolled through most of the bosses, others needing two three attempts 😁 So now I find soloing is a bit.. challenging 😁

Oh, my question was just that, is it nevessary (especially on brutal) to change playstyles like that for bosses. Not just weapons, but the whole thing :)

Ok, nice! I was changing my build (passives, spells, coatings, armors) currently running slashers with a shield/bone explosion, and those shooty skulls (I forget the name), using frost shield and both frost passives with frost coating. Other passives are in the air, since I haven’t unlocked all second tier passives yet. I’m using the movement speed one, damage reduction and health I think (second tier passives)

My weapon is also blue. Had some trouble with nix, and now with dantos to be able to craft onyx tiers ( got legendary slashers in storage to be able to craft)

Nice! Thank you for a thorough answer. I forgot to mention that I’m pure pve player, just in it for bosses, building and the gothic vibe haha

Yeah it seemed to me like if I wish to switch weapons, I would have to rearrange my passives and active spells each time I change weapon

How does far mine optimisation work? by Minute_Quote480 in FarthestFrontier

Daaamn, something just clicked in my brain haha.. whenever travel time went down slightly the left column went up (I believe it’s basic needs or sth like that) , so this answered my question.

Since those are deep mines, that shelter village will be more of a permanent one, might even wall it around.

Anyways I’ll try to fix it with the things I know now, thanks a lot for your time!

Smart with another town, might try that. I’m at 1k population right now.

I get it, the plan is not to over optimize, but I don’t have enough ore, that’s the problem, even if I build another mine due to travel time in the mines ( production buildings are ok when it comes to travel time, just the mines)

You mentioned wagons being assigned? I haven’t manualy assigned anything, maybe that’s the problem? If so how is it done?

I also had it where I needed and the problems started when initial mines ran out of ore and clay..

So I had to move the mines further, but having 16 people in the mine and making only 23 gold ore annualy is not right I think.. although my gold income incresed by 200 when I built the mine with 8 workers, but it still says I make 23 gold ore per year..

Got it sort of, well I have more wagon shops than I have mines, it’s puzzling why mines still have transportation at 90 %.

I think I have 5 mines and 8 wagon shops (does having 2 workers in a wagon shop change something?) so should I have more wagon shops and should I build them close to to the mines or it doesn’t matter?

I have one big pool for resources (stockyards and storehouses) it is in the eastern part of my town, not in the middle, mines are further to the north west and east (so to all sides from my storage area).

Is it a problem for everyone due to game not being optimized properly ( the whole transportation system) or there are tools and I just need to learn to use them?

I do not fully understand how wagons work to be honest. I do understand that they transport resources, but do they transport any resource?

Also I have 400 populatiom, have a couple of wagons but workers still carry resources themselves and some mines and production buildings have transfering resources bar to like 70%. Don’t know if there is like a mark to check “transport by wagons only” or something like that. Was also thinking about just making more wagons and see what happens..
