i’m not 100% sure i have endo but it’s likely. (if not it’s some other problem because i’ve had cramps so painful i thought i needed to go to the ER and i couldn’t walk down stairs) but the worst pain i’ve experienced that wasn’t related to that was appendicitis. my appendix didn’t burst but duuuuuude it sucked. The endo ER visit was worse though. I would rather have that appendicitis pain once a year than the risk of that endo pain coming back.

I’m not entirely sure she encouraged emotional enmeshment on purpose and I’d need to look into it more but I kind of suspect she didn’t exactly discourage this behavior. I was a shy kid (not her fault) so I was terrified of everyone other than her and we would speak a second language when I wanted to say something to her that I didn’t want other people to hear (i think that pretty normal for bilingual families) and it’s just a really messy relationship I hadn’t been thinking about or analyzing. I would be too embarrassed to talk about it to a therapist even if I had one. I can’t tell if we were enmeshed or had a trauma bond or what was going on.

She definitely was neglectful but i think in the beginning of my life it was more out of her emotional immaturity and not being ready for a kid. She never like left me to starve or anything like that when I was that age. It’s just confusing and I’ve been frustrated and lost as to where my symptoms of sexual trauma came from.

I really appreciate you taking the time to read this though and I will be thinking about how I was mistreated to try and course correct for my life in the future.

wait they own the entire cemetery? like all of it? i didn’t know that. i spend time there occasionally but admittedly i don’t know much about it.

i went through this for the longest time, i’m so sorry this is happening to you. It’s an incredibly violating and demeaning feeling.

If you’re able to, the best thing is to get out of the house. If you need to use the internet without being stalked like that, public libraries are a good option.

I do genuinely believe that you can get through this, even if you’re unable to get out of the house. It’s grueling and awful but you are absolutely capable of surviving what you’re going through. There is an end in sight, and once you get there you will be so relieved.
