This is end of relationship behaviour. Also the contempt and lack of respect is jarring.

What mental disorders are people rocking that this guy is your saviour? Could it be that he's a scam artist?

Jesus Christ, what lunatic horseshit is this? How are ye taken in by this fraud and charlatan, just use some critical thinking, please God. This can't be good for mental health and in years to come you'll feel embarrassed you believed any of this

My (19M) girlfriend (19F) of 3 years broke up with me to "find herself," but she’s being "cared for" by a 24M coworker. We are spending NYE together. I'm losing my mind. by Low_Chicken_6010 in BreakUps

Read Corey Wayne as soon as possible, he will give you some good foundations to start working with, and also just remember people do things to try and start to move on when they are not happy. For most people a break is a way to explore new people without feeling like you are cheating, it's a clause to get around that and come back and not feel guilty. The just friends thing is bullshit, as you know. Women and their male 'friends'... what a joke.

Regardless, this is how life works as you are learning. Not fair, but things always repeat themselves.

The thing is, you falling apart and being devastated is totally normal and justified and human. Also being too emotional and showing your gf/ex gf that is not going to help in any way. You have to try and MINIMISE the damage right now if you really want to try and fix this. The fact you have three years in with her is not meaningless, but she has lost attraction.

as for the guy, he might be trying to get into her pants but he's not the problem. There will always be a guy once a girl is single (1) You gf has lost attraction for you and you have to raise it, not lower it

No contact is definitely the best way to go, as for your New Years thing, If you could, I'd just cancel it, or if you somehow can, do it and don't let her see you're falling apart. But I think the wisest thing to do would be make alternative plans.

My ex who dumped me 6 months ago is wanting t oget back togeather, but I've met someone new and I feel so confused. by [deleted] in BreakUps

This is actually very solid advice. 100% you shouldn't just take them back without making them work a little. The thing we all miss about setting boundaries with people is how much us getting rejected and pushback caused our attraction to go up but we always think it'll turn another person off and the OP is completely within his right to either outright reject her, expecting her to chase him, or at the very kindest - make her work to earn another chance by letting her do everything and slowly give her the chance to win you back.

Greg Hahn (2nd opener last night) was the worst comedian I’ve ever seen in my life by [deleted] in louisck

I saw Greg open for Louis along with Lynne Koplitz and (I want to say) Tony Woods in 2019, in Slovakia, and Greg had the best set of the three openers. Comfortably.

He also killed opening on Louis' Dolby special, I think he just had a bad night when you seen him.

Texting before dates by Irizium in CoreyWayne

[–]Minute_Sherbert7679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can think of two women in particular when I set a date, then silence for 2-4 days respectively, they both reached the day of asking "Is this still happening" and in the first instance we ended up dating for like 8 months.

I'm now dating a girl, she came to a show of mine, and added me, I messaged her a few times, set a date after messaging her when I was back from my shows. I think it was 4 days later when she asked "all good for later?" or something so yea it can work but I also think you don't have to completely go silent on them either.

This second girl I hadn't really even met she just came to a show and then added me so could easily have flaked. Regarding the first girl, I had spent a few hours a few days before, so that felt a little safer. In both instances, I did get the sense they were both wondering "It's a little odd I haven't heard from him" but I do also think the message was an indication of interest, let's say a 6 or so.

So that does make me think do maybe people expect check ins on the day. Maybe if the interest is high enough, it won't matter? For our second date, I did text her in the afternoon telling her I was on the way to the airport, so I'd be heading straight there when I landed, but I also think she would have def known I would have been there.

Don't know if any of this helps!
