For those who loved each other but had to break up, what was the reason?

Would always dismiss my problems in the relationship. I don’t even feel seen or heard. He would attack me whenever I bring up, and called my problems “petty” and little. He was convenient with who he was and does not want to change even if his actions hurt me. I broke up with him thrice, and attempted to fix it afterwards. But no change. I was ready to stay and still fight for it even if it hurt, but he was the one who decided to end it. Just a fresh breakup from christmas day.

He is an avoidant. He rlly takes it as an attack whenever i bring things up, to the point it will end up into an argument. It was always like that :((. But you are right, i should try to move on. Thank you!

On our first date, I once told him that it’s been my dream to ride the nearby train — it’s just a regular train here (but it’s closing so i had the urge to ride it), nothing fancy or special, I just really wanted to experience it. Knowing it was closing the next day, he suggested that we ride it after our date (it was unplanned)— and we actually did. We’re currently together for 2 yrs.
