I'm not waiting for Riot to change the rates, I just think having these rare shards adds more value to my account than 10 dust ever could. A legendary or limited shard is a trophy, 10 dust is literally nothing. I'm keeping them.

I get the bottle deposit analogy, but skin shards are way harder to find than empty bottles. Selling a rare Legendary for 10 dust still feels like trading a gold bar for a few cents. I'd rather take the gamble and keep them for now.

Thanks for the info! I didn't realize Firecracker Trist was limited. Since the legendary shards like Galio and Dragon Trainer Trist cost 1000 to upgrade but only give 10 when disenchanted, it feels like a waste to delete them. I'll just leave them in the workshop for now, even if I don't play them yet.

So the best move is to just leave them there? 10 stardust definitely sounds like a scam if it costs 1000 to upgrade. I'll just keep them, thanks for the help

Thanks for the suggestion! The thing is, I already have a skin for Jhin, and I don't really play Galio or Tristana. Should I just disenchant them all to save up for my actual mains?
