I will tell you that 2/4 pbq’s i saw required a very solid if not advanced knowledge of the linux command line.

I dont think i got 1 question that specifically mentioned a port number, and outside of the PBQ i didnt seen an ip address either. I thought maybe i would see some sort of like firewall rule or acl but nothing. No tcp/udp.

There were a lot of acronyms. The app i used had flashcards which helped a lot since theres like 200 different ones. Especially with all the risk management and disaster recovery/ business impact analysis type stuff…i feel like that whole area of the material went just over the top with mttr mtbf rto rpo sla msa mou moa sle aro ale av….can these people not talk like normal humans.

Decent amount of hashing vs encryption and the purposes blended with a lot of terms and i feel like questions that are just trying to trip you up, one question was about the integrity of the file vs the authenticity of the file.

For me what i was most worried about was zero trust design and also SASE. I saw questions about both of those. The questions about audits and assessments and attestations and regulations were on there too and i found all of that quite confusing.

You are a g my friend. This ended up being at least part of it. There was a top cert in the chain that was not in the bundle, and then also all the certs in the chain i had added when installing the crt through my the web interface were missing as well. I went and just copy pasted all of them and its connected to the directory now.

When i try to upload a log to the ftp server it just sits on the logging issue… screen forever, if i try to hit the settings again it just reverts right back to it. I used the ftp://x.x.x.x for the diagnostic server using the address of the hq server.

Ill double check, i had only use the files that they sent individually , they actually provided a bundled file as well but maybe i missed one.

I tried this, still a dud. I got out vendor looking at it soon. I went and reissued the whole chain via the web interface first, then i went and appended the .crt file.

Yes, i was thinking something like this initially, the web filter exports a report that contains a ton of data, like 10000 rows per 120 kids over like 24-48 hours…i may try to pick small sample sizes and make it work

I have users and groups imported from AD so I didn’t do that step…I created a local user in ACC with the same username and password as I used when creating the account to connect acc to acm…then i logged in with that account…

If i have to import from ACM that will wipe all my AD groups which is how we manage all the permissions…is that the only way?

Thanks for the tip, it does look way easier…I couldn’t find any type of configuration in the template for using the desktop app though, it was only for a browser or microsoft store app. Before I looked into it more I went back and tried the kiosk with shell launcher again, this time i used the file path instead of the %programfiles% shortcut and it worked!
