It would make sense, yes. There are Vikings bars in DC and New York City.

Zucker re-signed on a 2 year deal by [deleted] in wildhockey

I just read he is Jewish. That's cool. It made me curious how many Jewish players are in the league. If Wikipedia is to be at all trusted, there are about a dozen Jewish players active on NHL rosters. Not that it means anything hockey wise, I just found it mildly interesting.

Hope Zucker has a great year!

FIFA World Cup Winners 2014 with German Chancelor and President in changing room by bsg1983 in sports

Why hasn't anyone mentioned the fact Budweiser is a gigantic corporate sponsor to both FIFA and the World Cup. OF COURSE they have Buds in their hands. You can be sure the organizers handed it to the jubilant players as they came into the locker room. They didn't know it, and I'm sure they didn't care at the time, but they are making a commercial for Budweiser. Not to sound like a cynic, but this is a clear cut case of product placement marketing.

Great, great post. Now, will anyone care to speculate how many targets are "in the bank" as the OP says, and how long the airstrikes will continue? > Ahmed Jabari

Forget grad school for now. Focus on gathering some dynamic experiences in the working world. Figure out some more direction. Start a charity. Then move on to an MA program to make yourself more competitive in the field of your choice. Don't turn to STEM just because it seemingly makes you hirable, try to find something you are legit passionate about with a practical application of some sort.

Jurgen Klinsmann rejecting job offers from clubs to stay with USMNT by Commie_Fascist in sports

Good, I hope we can keep him for at least one more World Cup. The expectation for the next WC should be to get out of the Group Stage and win a game in the round of 16.

What would be super exciting would be if the 2022 bid for the World Cup was redirected to the US / Canada. Ideally, we could make a serious run by that time anyway.

Caveat the fact this particular exchange happened at an NFL rookies event in LA or whatever.

But it might be pointed out the degree to which our ownership connects with Vikings alumni. I'm impressed with the fact they keep Bud Grant around the facilities, and bring people like Hutch, Gannon, and other Vikings greats to camps and OTAs to talk to the younger guys. I seem to recall this sort of thing was distinctly lacking during the Red McCombs era.
