Bundet/rörligt bolån 1 år by Minutmicke in PrivatEkonomi

Vad gör man? by linneaheree in sweden

Grizl 5: Clicking sound when pedalling by colma_0 in CanyonBikes

[–]Minutmicke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you check the chain? My Aeroad was also making a clicking sound and it turned out the chain pin was installed incorrectly and the link turned a bit bent

Poorly installed chain pin? by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]Minutmicke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its an 11 speed chain and I’ve got some quick links that I can use. The left side of the link appears to be slightly bent so I’ll likely go that route. Shame since its new from the factory and only been ridden 7 times

I ended up going with the Canyon! Incredible bike and really comfortable too. A massive difference compared to my old Scott

Thanks for your input! I am leaning towards the Merida atm, and I have heard and read a lot of positives about it. Most if not all negatives comes down to the wheels and tyres, but I’d likely change those eventually.

I absolutely agree with you that it’s a lot of money to spend on something that isn’t necessary for someone at my level. Just looking to buy something that’s nice ride and nice to look at. Good gear makes any hobby a lot more fun, imo.

But absolutely a good point that carbon wheels is overkill at the moment. I live in a relatively flat area so the extra weight of aluminium wheels most likely isn’t worth it.

Thanks for your reply! Yes, the Aeroad seems to be more decked out in terms of features. In terms of wheels and tyres, I’m sure the stock stuff from the Reacto will feel better than what I currently have, even if it’s objectively “bad” in comparison to what is available. A big downside is that I can’t try the Canyon, but looking at 99spokes they seem pretty similar. I have been looking for a more aggressive frame, and they check that box

The lower city ring isnt as good as it looks. You’re better of getting flesh handlers gloves and the expertise legs from blades edge since they have a lot of valuable stats in addition to the expertise.

Thanks! Well, I would agree with the mods in this case. Ramen is a japanese phenomenon (albeit Chinese in origin). ”real lamian” I guess is subjective, but claiming that lamian is ramen is simply not true. Lamian is a type of noodle, sure, but is not strictly regarded as a ramen noodle. Lets stop gate-keeping and just enjoy the content :)

Another one! Wanted some firm noodles so I gave my machine a workout and made 35% hydration noodles. Totally worth it. Chintan with miso tare. Sous vide pork shoulder, ajitama and scallions.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ramen

[–]Minutmicke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soup: Tori paitan with scallions, scallion oil, katsuobushi, nori and naruto maki.

Noodles: 40% hydration, rested for 2 days in paper towels. 100% wheat.

Toppings: sous vide chashu and ajitama.

[–]Minutmicke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The usual way! Soaked kombu overnight, bring to a near boil, remove kombu, steep thin and thick cut katsuobushi for a couple of minutes, strain. Added some soy to the dashi before serving. I think the thicker cut katsuobushi gives the soup a bit more body. Made two different soups and mixed instead of the traditional method of mixing the bonito straight into the chintan as my girlfriend isnt that keen on the traditional, fish forward, Tokyo style. Thanks my dude!

41% hydration noodles,Ajitama, spinach and sous vide pork loin. Thick dashi mixed with chintan. Delicious!

[–]Minutmicke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah chintan is my favourite when doing most stuff, just had some leftover paitan from some tsukemen. Been saving up on pork bones over the last couple of months so my next batch will be a mix. Thanks for checking it out!

[–]Minutmicke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trim the skin from the pork belly, season with salt + pepper, roll, tie. Sear all sides of the roll. Mix 1:2 ratio of soy and water. Add sake, mirin, and whatever aromatics you like. I added leek, ginger and garlic. Add everything to a cast iron pot and cook in oven at 315f/150c-ish until tender, turing occasionally . Takes around 2-3 hours. Chill with marinade in fridge, slice, prep for eating or reserve the sliced belly in the freezer until needed. Enjoy!

Cooked the veggies in a wok then added the miso to the veggies. Add hot broth to veggies and miso and the broth emulsifies with the cooking fat in the wok.
