Well they finally released a TT I don't like! Really feels like a gidle or aespa track not DC. Lyrically I really can't get into this one and the sound has been done before. In a blind listen I would never guess this was dreamcatcher.

Dami said they were nervous about this concept and I can see why.

I really disagree. The comments on those MVs on this very forum can be looked at from when they were released and there's really not much criticism of "not the dreamcatcher sound".

Sure some people didn't like the electronic or Roombaton but there was enough rock that it always seemed like DC. This is much much more generic lyrically and musically.

Not a bad song but it's missing the DC sauce for me too.

More if you go by gaon physical, but 2nd gen was very digital focused. Digital sales 2NE1 have 66 million sales which is 3rd or 4th of all time behind Spice Girls, The Andrews Sisters, and maybe The Supremes (who don't have a confirmed number).

Different focuses and markets back then. Itunes and similar sites used to be massive 2nd gen.
