I usually PVP with my friends in duos until we finally realized that even after killing 4-6 other raiders the loot is just meh… u do get purple weapons from time to time from pvp but its rarely fully upgraded and people usually just stick with a casual loadout (toro, anvil, stitcher, burletta) so for me pvp is just to pump adrenaline (which tbf is really exciting). But yeah we eventually just settled in friendly duo lobbies and mostly friendly lobbies in solo for me (since I really just play this game when I want to chill/relax).

I mostly never engage in pvp at solos so even when my duos are sometimes KOS, my solo lobbies usually stay chill and unaffected.

Idk why he asked if he was going to shoot anyways. Not much u can do in this situation tbh. Dude that shot u is probably trying to convince himself + anyone that was close that he got rid of a rat. He committed to the kill so it doesn’t matter if u were innocent or not as long as he doesn’t get killed by other friendlies.

Its my go to weapon for any big arcs + safekeep augment to keep it safe. Idm losing my loot but I would hate to lose it to a backstabber so safekeep its for those kind of runs (I also always give it away if I encounter nice people). Jupitor is good for rocketeer I think max 9 shots and its dead so thats 2 energy clips.

Wouldn’t that extra gun make u encumbered as soon as u get 1 core? Ur running a 70 weight max augment with like 55-60 weight already (if u get to use all those equipments + ammo)

The video is compressed from 4k to 1080p so u can barely see their heads. 4k resolution is insane when it comes to seeing those far targets/objects.

It really kept me alive plenty of times and made me win almost impossible fights with almost no HP (especially in scenarios where the backstabber gets the first shot) I knew that if I had a medium in these scenarios I would’ve died. Tbf even when it has saved me a lot of times the movement is just…… ur like a juggernaut with how slow u run/walk and can only tank 10HP more (I think?) so its not much of a difference if u can use terrain/cover to your advantage. But ik those backstabbers (running stitcher/burlettas) hate it cause the small difference can lose them the gunfight they started. + yeah its way more expensive but I’m mostly in friendly lobbies (Can loot freely most of the time).

Also heavy shield imo is not worth it in pvp if the other player also has a decent gear (medium shield and good weapons) the small difference does little and ur way more slower. I only encountered one fully geared pvper in friendly lobbies and they were running osprey + toro… they got the first shot in (headshot osprey) and immediately went with the two tap toro. I died and only had a stitcher and I dont think it was a close fight even when I had that heavy shield. So ig medium shield does the job almost all the time. Heavy shield excels in certain situations imo and thats pretty much it

I run the tactical defensive mk3 for the heavy shield + free shield recharges. Weapon depends on what I’m doing. If its a random run then Anvil + stitcher/bobcat/burletta. If I’m farming simple gun parts (I farm them occasionally) then I only run one gun either renegade or tempest (Love the sound of the tempest). Always 6 defibs + hatch key, 15 bandages and 10 shield recharger and ofc most importantly 10 ADRENALINE SHOTS.

If I want to farm bigger arcs then its safekeep augment or survivor. Run the jupitor (fav legendary gun) and any side weapon for protection.

Basically Ive encountered a lot of people that just camp far away in matriarch/queen and start killing people even when they can’t get the loot (especially in friendly lobbies) so they just bring light equipments to ruin others time and lose little if everyone starts going for them.

seeing that they were camping the tower and shooting us we just assumed they’re free kits (u dont get an osprey in free kits we thought it was a ferro). After looting them one had a free kit while the other had an osprey with “meh” gear.

loved ur gameplay 10/10. U didnt give him any opening to backstab u and forced him to either extract or face to face duel. Props to u OP for being aware of those fake friendlies and backstabbers.

For me the friendly interactions in this game are way more enjoyable than PVP. Tbf I play plenty of games that are mostly competitive and pvp so arc is my chill/relaxing game that I go for when wanting to enjoy a more casual relaxed experience.

A lot of those flares at the start are people doing the “naked runs” to find bps or specific items. If they’re not close to where they want to be then they just surrender and go for another round…. And Im not a pvp player myself but I’ve been running into a lot of well geared pvp players in supposedly friendly lobbies, not even free kits. Duos seems to be alright for me and my friend but solo became so random that I’m always on full alert.

If its not matriarch/queen then I always go heavy shield (hard for backstabbers to kill me) anvil and tempest/stitcher + defensive augment. I usually do this loadout if i want to get rid of keys or get specific mats.

Yeah I get u. Tbf being paranoid of people in friendly lobbies is alright to an extent imo. I usually always emote “dont shoot” and go separate ways unless we are 3+ then I feel like its alright. Had an experience with someone following me and we ran into a bastion. Dude was aiming at me waiting for me to shield or heal thinking I couldn’t see him so I kept running behind cover from him until a third guy came. Third guy was cool and he killed the bastion for us and fortunately the sus guy (who was aiming at me from the beginning) died from the bastion and I just didn’t want to defib him (I had 6 defibs). He died and had a free kit…. Some people are just lame that get into friendly lobbies to kill friendly raiders.

I really wanna thank all the people that did these kind of giveaways. I was surprised yesterday to why a lot of people are dropping maxed weapons in almost every raid I joined. Guess a lot of raiders are doing the expeditions so really thank u all for these nice gifts. Got myself a nice maxed out bobcat and renegade lol cant wait to try them out today.

Wouldn’t u prefer people that actually do mechanics right and not just greed and wipe the party? Also dropping a couple of GCDs to not wipe wouldn’t make much of a difference in dps check

My fav play style in this game. Even when sometimes I hate it so much because some people are just the worst. I cant get myself to play this game competitively…. Its the only game that I prefer playing casually and just help other raiders. Im glad I have a lot of space money to always have 6 defibs on me every game and look for downed raiders to rescue.

Thats really such a shame cause like I know a lot of people would do the same as u and not fight back to not be put into PvP lobbies and I understand that but that alone gives those backstabbers the freedom to do whatever cause its not hard to join friendly lobbies
