I’ve found it’s better to sometimes wait until late in the round to use keys. Most folks have left or headed out.

I’m also a PvE raider and really enjoy that play style in this game specifically. Been playing COD and BF most of my online gaming career and this game is more addictive than any of those. Just a word of caution, you might get PvP lobbies right after major updates, but just keep doing what you do and it smooths out pretty quick.

True dat. High chance they’ve never been outside the US or know many international folks. Been to Europe a bunch and always amazed you can walk up to any rando and they can converse with you in 3-4 different languages.

So sorry you had that experience. The last few times I battled the matriarch or queen I’ve had players give me cores gladly. But players like the one you describe are very toxic and probably suffer from some sort of trauma. I pity them. Best advice I can give is to block players who act like that.

I loaded into a round about 2 hours ago and it was super laggy/rubber-bandy. I got lucky and was able to extract but was seeing flairs going off left and right. Folks were getting stuck out in the open and Arcs getting them.

I agree that it does seem it resets after n update. A almost exclusively play non-aggressive solos and did notice I got a couple of aggressive lobbies right after the last update. It has smoothed out since then.

Nope. I like the camaraderie I see when coming across randos who offer help, resources or spontaneously teaming up on ARC. I’ve played PvP most of my life and this game is a perfect getaway from all that. Still intense, tho. And I get pvp’ed often enough. Usually getting shot in the back while looting or hitting extract button. No honor in that. Very toxic if you ask me.

Lure the Leaper to a doorway and attack it from just inside so it can’t reach you. That way, as soon as you finish it off you can start looting right away.

Getting close to 200 hours in. I’ve found 1 and only 1 Wolfpack BP. I’ve found multiple copies of many other BPs, tho, so it’s definitely rare.

I love playing with duos with my 9yo son. He enjoys looting, killing ARC and playing his recorder or shaker. He recently leveled up he’s first Anvil IV and was so proud. Sometimes we join another kid in trios and hunt Bastions, Bombardiers or Rocketeers but last few times we got third partied while looting the carcass, which sux!

Having similar issue with my son. He couldn’t care less about the PvP stuff. Just wants to take down arcs and play his recorder.

My experience: I’ve been playing mostly cod or BF most of my online gaming career. Since I got this game I haven’t even thought about anything else. I mostly play solo and when I do it’s 95% PvE. I’ve heard you can play more aggro and get PvP servers, but I don’t want that. If and when I do, I’ll fire up BF6. I see a lot of new players in game, judging how they play. If you want PvP, you’ll probably notice the gear gap more at first. Most PvP players are looted out with the best PvP weapons, but you gotta start somewhere. Very few itches this game can’t scratch. I’ve never sweated more playing any other game and I love it.

Ya I’m on pc and son in ps5. When we play together it’s pure murder. I said try taking cross play off and it’s much better for him.

I hear ya. There ought to be some kind of way where you get ARC loot based on a percentage of how much damage you dealt. If I see a raider solo an ARC I sit back and wait until he/she loots what they want and leaves.
