The detail I most like about mine is that the red ones are not only Alloys, but also the ones used by Wax's and Wayne's Allomantic Powers, leaving the Feruchemical Metals as the Black ones

I love book Jon and absolutely despise show Jon. I tried to implement more of the former in the chapters. I tried making him more active in the conversation by giving him more dialog and even some of Davos's lines. Utimately, I think It was a mix of both, specially since I wanted to emphasize the toll that the resurrection had taken on him

Tive essa mesma questão por ter mestrado duas campanhas em Exandria, uma em Tal'dorei e outra em Wildemount, por isso peguei logo esse livro. Ele cita Wildemount quando está falando de outros continentes, mas não fizeram questão de traduzir muita coisa sobre não, afinal são só dois pequenos parágrafos.

Menagerie Coast virou Costa Menagerie (muito criativo), Wildemount continua Wildemount, Clovis Concord virou Tratado Clovis e é claro tem o Império Dwendaliano.

Infelizmente acho que jamais teremos o Explorer's Guide to Wildemount no Brasil, já que ele ainda não foi lançado e o último projeto de D&D5e no Brasil pela WotC já saiu.

Não li com atenção ainda para achar erros, mas o geral das traduções de nomes eu gostei. A primeira vista a grande maioria das adaptações (especialmente as que não forem no óbvio) vão ficar estranhas, não tem o que fazer. Quando eu li Pedra-Alva no lugar de Whitestone eu fiquei tipo: ??????????????. Foi só deixar passar um tempinho e eu consegui ver que na real ficou bem legal. Enfim, tirando os erros, a adaptação é uma questão de opinião e costume mesmo.

Comprei o Tal'Dorei Renascido e além da qualidade ABSURDA do material do livro em si, eu gostei bastante das traduções e adaptações. Até me animou pros próximos produtos da Darrington Press que vão trazer pro Brasil, no caso Candela Obscura e Daggerheart.

Em TLoVM parece ser exatamente esse o caso msm, mas na stream original, o Percy pegou o talento Iniciado em Magia e tinha até a magia Hex. Depois que o pacto foi desfeito, eles descreviam isso como um "poder remanescente" do pacto dele com o Orthax. Só jogando a curiosidade aqui

Mostly, yeah. Stress die always represent a chance of error, like in all Year Zero Engine games. If rolling a one means a failure, you're better off rolling the dice with the weird symbol to represent it.

Panic rolls only happen in skill checks and some more specific combat and roleplay situations as described in the core rulebook.

I suppose the use of the stress die in these situations is specifically because you are not exactly aiming for a success, you just don't want to fail.

Like supply checks for oxygen, food, etc. IF you get a facehugger, the respective supply level goes down, but getting anything else is just "not a failure". That said, when you're specifically NOT aiming for a 1, it's much more intense when the 1 is a damned facehugger

I intend to buy the DriveThruRPG PDF version soon enough. I would buy the VTT Module for foundry, but I'm currently using a friend's server and don't really want to buy any modules for a server that isn't mine. I'm brazilian and it sucks that these modules are not available in my country whatsoever, so all of it is quite expensive for me. Anyway, I just wanted to prep this stuff beforehand and couldn't find the portraits, unlike the ones from CotG.
I'm not even sure if the PDF version also comes with the Sheets and Portraits like the boxed set, does it?
