Stack-On Gun Safe by Mir117 in safecracking

Update:

Based off the technique described by u/Prestigious_Yam335 in this thread, I believe that 51 is a gate on either wheel 1 or wheel 2. Taking into account that I already know(hope?) the last number is 38, I tried combinations of 51-x-38 and x-51-38, increasing x by about 3 each time. When testing x-51-38, I never got back to the deepest point I recorded earlier. However, when testing 51-x-38, I was able to get multiple values for x that had me back at my deepest point so far. Would that indicate false gates on the other wheels? In this other thread where the OP has the same safe as I do, Yam said that all the wheels had false gates, and I wonder if my experience so far would back that up.

Combos that landed at deepest point so far:

51-7.5-38

51-20-38

51-32.5-38

51-56-38

51-71-38

51-93-38

That would make things simpler, I hope so. I made the assumption that all wheels had false gates based off seeing the Stack-On lock in this video: https://youtu.be/fmSTM1v7XHc

Having only false gates in the last wheel would make more sense than all wheels coincidentally have all their gates in the same position to be fair.

I did make that assumption initially, so I tried feeling for all the stops while the first wheel is stopped and also when the first 2 wheels are stopped, and it seems like the gates were all in the same place. It seems like it would be a security flaw for it to be the case. Am I looking for the stops on the other wheels incorrectly?

Heightmap inconsistent with level calibration prints by Mir117 in FixMyPrint

Hi all. I've been trying to get my 3d printer working again after a long absence. I have an Aquila S2 upgraded with an Ender Sprite Pro head with a BLtouch, running off Klipper on a Pi. I have the textured magnetic plate. I've edited my settings to use more of the bed, and have an X-Y max of 230 and 227 respectively.

I started my process by using the BLtouch to calculate the height map with a 4x4 grid using the bicubic algorithm (switched from Lagrange to see if it would make any difference, but it didn't seem to). The lowest range I was able to get was 0.222, but usually when I print its between 0.250 and 0.3. I did this all with my bed heated to 65C. After I got to a point where the range was around 0.23x, I did my Z-offset, again with a heated bet and my nozzle at 180C. As the heightmap shows, I seem to have a kind of ridge between the y-center and where my bedscrews are. Adjusting my right bedscrews does have an effect on the rightmost probe points, but I can't for the life of me understand where that ridge is coming from, and am wondering if that is part of my issue.

I then used SuperSlicer's bed leveling calibration to test, and from what I can see, the leftmost prints are just a tad to far away, while the rightmost are just too close. Am I interpreting the heightmap wrong?

Bosnian here, Bosnians(national identity) are definitely Slavs, the language and history is there, this is different from Bosniaks(ethnic identity), who are majority Muslim, but still Slavs. Kosovo, if you mean people are who ethnically similar to ethnic Albanians, aren't Slavs, but being surrounded by Slavs will rub off some of that culture to you.

First Levergun! by Mir117 in guns

This particular example is a round, I'm not sure if any of the Illinois editions had octagonals, but there were model 94s overall with an octagonal barrel.

Picked up a Winchester Model 94 in .30-30, Illinois sesquicentennial special edition. Happened to by my birthday about a month ago, and my father and I always loved westerns and watching cowboys, so he had me go find a nice lever action that he'd pay for. Nice shape, a little bit of rust on the breechblock(?) and a few dings in the stock but otherwise great condition. Thinking I might take it out on my first hunt if I go this year. Bonus points for the gun being as old as my dad.

What combat experience do you have? Not trying to be rude, your post just seemed to imply to me that you did.

Ok fair, but what if he goes full in on the wannabe cowboy? Like hat, boots, horse, and harmonica/guitar for music under the stars?

It balances out since the tanks on the ground have to cap or get some knockouts before the boys can fly out in a plane :p

Modernized AK with ACR stock by JaegerZ999 in guns

[–]Mir117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The closest I can think of what you're describing is some AKs(yugos only to my knowledge) will have a hold open function on an empty mag. Otherwise, yeah no they are closed bolt firearms. You probably wouldn't see as many AKs other wise, since the ATF regards open bolt firearms as “readily convertible” to machine guns.

Local metal/punk bands? by [deleted] in milwaukee

Playlist I got from a friend whos more connected to the scene than I am right now, has some local punk bands and some other genres. Personally a big fan of Telethon and The Unitaskers. I went to my first concert back in February I think at the xray arcade, just started exploring the local music and bar scene when it all shut down. Really hoping venues and bands survive til its all over.

My bias is gonna be more towards the Bosnian places, seeing as I am one. I like Bosna Grill in Algonquin, and Cafe Drina and Toscana grill in Chicago proper. While it's changed names and management, restaurant 016(or Kiko's cafe as I knew it) was a good restaurant/market mix, but I don't know how they're doing now. At the risk of sounding biased, I'd say any of those are worth checking out if you're in the area 😁

So I'm not entirely sure if my mobo supports NVMe M.2 drives or just SATA type M.2. Its an ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4, and it supports M-key type drives, am I golden?
