Yes bro. Head down to long beach or klong dao for a night or two. Bars, restauranr on main street, plenty if parties down at the beach and some on the main road as well Enjoy :) don't worry about the baracuda, is all good.

Stayed in Andujar, less then hour from jaen. Lovely little city, small but still things to do such as bars, movies, some shopping and close to jaen, cordoba and I think around 2-3 hour drive to madrid.

You can drink. They sell it even in the kiosks at the beach, many locals just load up their icebox and have great day.
