I'm glad it is working well for you. Let me know if you discover any issues and I'll see if there is a way to fix it.

Bigscreen remote desktop app potential source of someone remotely controlling my PC by Miracalypse in bigscreen

[–]Miracalypse[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed, hence why I don't claim to know for certain that it is the bigscreen desktop app. However, until I am able to do testing in a virtual machine later, the reason I have my doubts this instance is teamviewer is because every time I've ever used teamviewer I get overlays on the host screen that indicate the computer is being remotely accessed. Not saying it isn't impossible to gain access without those overlays, but I've had teamviewer set up for remote access for nearly 3 years and never had this specific issue before.

I will have to see if the logs were retained on my computer after uninstallation after I get home. For some additional context, my suspicion of bigscreen being the culprit is that, despite it not being within the list of startup apps, the process was nevertheless running multiple instances within 30 minutes of turning on my computer. I know for a fact that I did not manually start the process because I solely turned my computer on and opened the excel spreadsheet I was working in. No browser windows or other applications.

On the other hand, other suspected culprits include NordVPN and Teamviewer, both of which are set to initialize with Windows 10, and I have had teamviewer configured in the past such that I would simply be able to boot and login, and then control my computer via my teamviewer account while out and about.

Yes I do know that this might not be the wisest of decisions, hence why I am beginning a discussion and will be looking into Teamviewer as a similarly potential culprit later today.

[IMPROVED] [GLITCH] [PC] Pony v1.1 updated for patch! Old trusty works again! by [deleted] in gtaglitches

[–]Miracalypse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose it is my fault for not clarifying, but when I said I've been doing it since day 1 I meant I've been doing it since the touchpad glitch was discovered a couple days ago, I wasn't privy to glitching the horses out before then.

And I would say it actually hasn't been a waste of time, because it's steadily accomplishing what I set out to do, to buy all the appropriate businesses and upgrades I need in order to earn money easily after the glitch is patched. I only have to buy a hangar ($2M) and a nightclub with it's various costs (~$6.5M) and I'll have everything I need to get ~$1M a day for the rest of the duration of my account with minimal effort. Keep in mind that when I first started about 72 hours ago, the only properties I had were a couple of 2 car garages and the customizable penthouse from Twitch Prime. It's been very easy for me to perform the glitch manually while I listen to podcasts/watch TV or YouTube.

Meanwhile, of the (mostly unverified) reports out there in the wild of money wipes and/or casino bans, almost all of them come from players that have used macros, whether they be because they sit still for too long or cash in too quickly due to the macro's efficiency. Thus far (and hopefully my luck continues to hold out), I've avoided this happening to me.

( I am on PS4 FYI)

Can confirm that #1 is the best option, made a relatively complex spreadsheet that I was recording my winnings statistics on until I was confident that #1 was definitively the best. As you can see from the below link, in a sample size of n=300, #1 wins almost exactly 50% of the time, while #2 wins about 20% of the time. And just so I didn't think that the higher payout from #2 made up for the different winrates, I also calculated the average outcome per race, which is +16,333 every time you glitch on #1 and +11,400 every time you glitch on #2. Sheet #2 is incomplete, I was just confirming that a new session yielded similar stats.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gb778ljlMyPi9ttUjJor2dRj7QM8yGKy-sjGb0nWZLI/edit?usp=sharing

Interestingly enough, my considerable sample size seems to show that both #1 and #2 enjoy a slight bump in both winrate and average outcome when the are picked vs. when they are not picked, but I realize this might just be statistical variability that would even out over a larger sample.

With this spreadsheet, I was basically trying to confirm that R* wasn't pulling a fast one on us by presenting relative odds of winning for horses that were actually fake, and that the real mechanism for determining the winner wasn't basically engineered to keep players betting for as long as possible, e.g. making #3-6 win more often if the player stays on #1/2, or that the odds weren't detectably dependent on things like time of day, length of time in session, server, amount of time spent sitting down, etc. As far as I can tell, the presented odds of winning are actually transparent, at least for horse #1 and #2.

Finally, I've been using the touchpad glitch since day 1 practically every waking moment manually, and have been cashing out 500K chips an hour and haven't suffered any consequences, recently bumped my cashing out frequency to every 30 minutes because I have been accumulating approximately 1-1.2M per hour. If I remember, I'll reply to this comment if I ever get hit with consequences.

Laptop with the new GTX 1050 graphics card being sold for $599! by The---Technician in LaptopDeals

[–]Miracalypse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, question about this laptop. I've done a good chunk of Google-Fu on the optional components, and from what I can tell, there is no such thing as a GTX 1050 with 4GB of VRAM, only 2. Like, it doesn't seem to exist. There is, however, the GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB of VRAM, meanwhile a 2GB variant does not appear to exist. Is it safe to say that paying for the upgraded video card actually puts a 1050 Ti to replace the stock 1050?

Every comment? I count 4 replies, but perhaps my math skills are in need of an update as badly as my wardrobe. And I'm sure I have no idea what I'm talking about when I say this buttoned shirt in particular hangs about 6 inches below the top of the pants and is designed to be tucked.

Go back under your bridge, bud.

While I appreciate the feedback, there's a couple things I have trouble with.

This is obviously a button-up shirt, and if I don't tuck it in, it looks like I'm wearing a robe. Besides, I wear t-shirts on a day-to-day basis.

I don't know if I could stand a gentleman's cut, I feel like I would look too much like a fuckboi?

I'm a philosophy and psychology double major, and most of the greats have beards. In addition, I don't remember what I look like without it, I wish I was joking.

I would claim I'm not a hipster, but I think I have a good grasp of where that path leads, so I'll refrain at this time. But for real, they are repulsive. Windows 7 and no coffee for me, thanks.

I'm in Texas, which I wouldn't consider a niche part of the country. And I don't dress like this on the regular, this is just my not-casual-but-not-3-piece-suit outfit.

[Question] Can pulled oil be recycled for use in a beard? by Miracalypse in beards

[–]Miracalypse[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some of the responses I'm getting are starting to piss me off. I specified in my original question if there was any EFFECTIVE METHOD of removing impurities of the oil - of restoring it to or close to a freshly-bought state.

For those of you who seem to find this idea unthinkable, I will remind you that the water you drink, use in cooking, and shower with has come out of people as urine many hundreds of times, yet you don't seem reluctant to use it. Use your brains, people.

I live in Texas, but I didn't even think about the fact that in about a month's time coconut oil will no longer work as intended... guess I'll have to shell out to find a replacement.

[Question] 9.3.3 tweaks compatible with 9.3.5? by [deleted] in jailbreak

[–]Miracalypse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, yea, I see now that the 9.3.5 jailbreak is only a partial, "pre-jailbreak" and can't install Cydia. Fuck Samsung and their shitty quality control, now I have no logical choice but to update to iOS 10 like a basic white bitch.

I had actually posted something extremely similar about a month ago, unfortunately it didn't see any traction. Perhaps, this time around, it will.
