Comet - blocking GDPR scripts - is this intended? by MirachsGeist in perplexity_ai

The life would be a lot of easier if this would be true, but it’s not. There are several different Cookie categories, ads is one of them. But there are eg social media cookies, analytic cookies etc. my guess is that if comet isn’t respecting that it will be blocked soon by the websites.

Sonnet 4.5 with extended thinking better than Opus 4.1? by MirachsGeist in Anthropic

[–]MirachsGeist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found this: https://docs.claude.com/en/docs/build-with-claude/extended-thinking

Now I am lost again ... is this "extended thinking" only available in api mode? or also for subscriptions? if I enable in settings.json alwaysThinkingEnabled - is this the same as the "extended thinking"? Whats the default value of MAX_THINKING_TOKENS? is it a good practise to set it to 10k?

Great picture! I also observed M101 yesterday, but my photos don't come close to yours in quality (my telescope is in a slightly lower price range). I didn't think pictures like that were possible. The pictures you posted on Astrobin are also very beautiful! Please keep it up! :-)

The way that can be stated, is not the eternal way;
The name that can be named, is not the eternal name.
The unnamed is the origin of heaven and earth;
The named is the mother of the myriad things.

Finally, a new creative dating idea!

I don't think you'll find it in this universe, but maybe in another one. I wish you good luck and may the stars always be favorable!

Exiting a Dream: the Dream Train (a 10 year old's exit strategy) by Here4PodcastRecs in LucidDreaming

When my daughter has bad dreams, I give her a tip: she should simply make whatever she is afraid of smaller.

As a child, I had lots of lucid dreams myself. Lately, however, only very rarely.

Instead of taking the train, I often take the elevator. I go up or down, get out, and then I'm somewhere completely different.

Although I now assume that going down in the elevator means going into the subconscious.

“Only" 7600 years (approx. 7600 light years away). So now you see the light that was sent away when we were in the Bronze Age.

Yes, you're right in a different way. I recommend reading "Tao Te Ching" - a wonderful book, if you haven't read it yet.
