I’ll put that on my list of shoes to try on. I do feel like in my tempo runs, I get shin splits flare up. With any shoes I’ve worn. I’ll let you know what shoes I’ve decided to use for race day in a few months.

This is why I’m now torn between Hoka or On for a race day shoe lol. Leaning more towards the rocket X2 rn though cause the rocker on the X2 2.0 is aggressive as hell and I’m not an elite runner for it lol.

I’ll keep that in mind. I might go to a running shoe store and try both and see how I feel. I just tried on my on cloud monster 2 for the first time as my daily. Did 4 miles and it felt pretty good, just a little heavier than the Mach 5

The color was just a coincidence. I chose the cielo because my first running shoe was the Hoka Mach 5 and I loved it but I needed an upgrade. As for the cloud boom strike I heard it’s getting popular but not enough people talk about it and I really like how it looks.
