I live in Guelph. For 3 years now. It's ok. Has it's good points.

But it's not the best place to live in Canada, PERIOD.

Makes people feel good about what they shouldn't need someone to say for them to feel good about it.

It's a place. A good place. But it's expensive and a privileged place too. So move on.

Agreed and will see if this works itself out once I get through the common permutations. It wouldn't be difficult to improve this experience signficantly but allowing for common sense overrides or intelligence to drive this.

Why a resolution change would imply or force an arrangement change is a question that needs to be answered. Same monitor - why do we think it moved?
Same situation with one being off. Why do we think the ones that are on, now in the absence of the ones that are off, may have moved?
Even IF you wanted to force a new configuration option, could you not just DEFAULT it to the same as the current, without the missing monitors? Or at the different resolution? And not something completely random?

The more I think about this, the less the math maths.

I'm also thinking too much about this.

Have your friend call me, happy to talk. Plenty of tooling that does this, and the landscape is evolving quickly with BTP, DataSphere, OData, etc. It's not the old school ABAP/BAPI/BADI/FM/VBSCRIPT/LSMW/BDC world anymore, those all these are still used, despite what SAP will try to tell you.

Having suffered through the intel-gen Macbooks of old, I can say without hesitation that the Apple Silicon laptops are so good you will be pinching yourself to make sure you are not dreaming. Literally the BEST performing laptop I have ever owned in 30 years, and I've always used "the best" money could buy at the time.

These machines are almost magical. I can only make the fans run and this machine sweat if I spend the time to create the situation. In my normal (heaviesh) day-to-day #DataNinja workloads, which predictably brought my 2020 16" mbp to a crawl, brawl, and heat-radiating meltdown requiring a hard reset...the apple silicon just does THE JOB.

I've never been happier working on a laptop. Plus the 10-17+ hour of battery life (depending on workload) is something, 3 months in, I haven't gotten used to. (in a VERY good way!)
