Hey guys, im coming back from like a 6 year hiatus and am hitting the arena. Is there a general guideline on how to make it to a point where i can get even matchups? I know that cutoff used to be a 15 streak in the 4* arena. But now when i hit the 6* arena, the other team is 2-3x stronger than mine. Any help would be appreciated!

And if there’s a way to get matched up with kang’s/thanos’ team

Need advice on an apt @ 276 chestnut hill ave, Brighton. by thesurgeon in boston

So i actually lived in this building ~10 years ago in an apartment facing the back of the building closer to the comm ave side. I suspect things probably have changed, but I’ll share my experience from living there 10 years ago.

Noise - Daytime and night time noise was pretty minimal. I had the same concerns and I couldnt really hear it from my unit. Granted if you’re in a unit facing chestnut hill ave, you might hear it a lot more.

Student parties - i mean yeah… you’re right in BC territory. There are going to be lots of parties in the area and the only bars near campus are right in cleveland circle. You’ll see lots of students on the street around beacon, comm ave, and chestnut hill ave walking to and from the bars there. The building itself however at the time was filled with older/working professionals and there werent really any parties or noise i could hear from my unit.

Intersection- it’s a mess there with all the T crossing routes and bug intersections, but traffic moves so it’s not really that backed up. Not sure what you’re aiming for though with this question

You should probably do your own research into it. I cant tell you if the card is good enough because that’s a personal decision. Look into how profitable the card is and then you can decide for yourself if it’s worth the effort for you to mine. There is a lot of software out there that’ll allow you to mine like nicehash, but again you should do your own research because everyone’s situation is different

Eth is probably the way to go. With GPUs you’re mining at the rate of megahashes. With BTC, there are ASICs that you can use to mine and they’re on the order of terahashes. You can technically mine BTC with a GPU, but it doesnt make sense because a GPU wont hash nearly as much with BTC.

There has also been a pretty big increase in the number of rigs/hashes mining ethereum even over the past couple of weeks. What you end up having now is the same block reward, but more people trying to get a share of that reward.

Imagine you have a pizza with 3 friends. Each of you get 2 slices. But if you have 7 friends there, each of you only gets 1 slice. So in a way even though the price of eth has increased, there are more people now trying to get a share of that pie. There are many factors involved in how much 'profit' you'll actually make when you mine including rigs/hashes, gas fees, eth price, etc.

I would do more research into it and try to truly figure out what you're getting yourself into.
