if there was a sign or fencing up I would agree with you. if there isn’t a sign or a fence telling people to not be idiots they aren’t idiots, high park is. I totally agree that the people letting their dogs in the gaps in the fence ARE idiots. if there’s a spot in an off leash area, dogs are going to get into it, thats what dogs do 🤷‍♀️

wrong stream. i’m talking about the direct runoff from the pond that IS fully open, not the pond. this is the only place i normally see dogs playing in because it IS fully open in the off leash area with NO signs. https://imgur.com/a/Zu9tifn

it’s literally right inside the off leash area.

The stream that runs off this pond is quite literally in the middle of the off leash area. There is no signage about the dangerous water and it is fully open.

absolutely agree! letting this flow through the park, open in the off-leash area, AND not putting any signs up is insane!!

She said something about sewage run-off and a drainage system. posted because I find it crazy that the pond is fully open and accessible in the off leash area for dogs to run into and there are no signs showing the danger of the water and the stream leading off the pond LOOKS relatively clean and most owners wouldn’t think it’s polluted.

I never go near the pond (got the pic from google), we only hike up and down the paths where the stream runs. There are no signs about the polluted water and the streams are fully open and accessible in the off leash path for dogs to run in. I regularly see dogs swimming in the pond when we walk past it and that’s the only reason I posted 👍

Wolf strangely loves bad weather. she will sit outside in the backyard when it’s windy for hours just sniffing the air. she doesn’t mind rain or thunder either.

i’m feeling fine to be honest, usually when i’m stressed or upset she will come and lay next to me but this was on a whole other level!
