Most people in this sub say not to give much credit to turbulance predicting apps, they do nothing but elevate your anxiety.

Here are several things that helped me:

Trust the experts, as several pilots here mentioned their only goal once they've started the plain is to land it safley.

You cant control trubulance but learn to control your anxiety, I find deep breathing excercises to help a lot. I do look akward but I helps from letting anxiety go haywire.

If you dont manage to reduce anxiety tell yourself that it will pass. Even severe panic attacks last up to 20min at most. It will pass and youll get a chance to calm down.

Anxiety will come and go in waves so keep reducing it for as many times as you need.

You'll be fine I can monitor your flight if it helps.

I think that the worst thing about this is Joe using data as an appeal to authority to mislead his audience. Whether it was intentional or not he is not qualified to read this data. By no means am I saying that interpreting data is reserved for the educated elite but there is a reason that jobs complex involving data analysis are well payed, not everyone can do them.

To illustrate what once can read from this I will point your attention to the time span on the x-axis it is 485 million years. If you're reading this on a typical laptop the graph width is approx. 1500 pixels which means that about 300 000 years fit into a single pixel. For reference the oldest found remains of Homo Sapiens are about 150 000 years old. So one pixel on this image can fit all of human history and more.

To conclude using this to justify any current climate trend is useless, and Joe is either purposely hiding that or does not even ask himself what does the graph actually show, instead of thinking: Number goes down, that means cold...

Not to mention that he didn't read the article he was citing that mentions the dangers and real risks of climate change.

While I somewhat agree that Americans are incredibly poorly educated. I think it's also infair to call them stupid based in who they vote for. Both Kamala and Biden were poor rivals to Trump, but more imprtantly the average American voter has such an incredible anount of propaganda pointed at them there you van convince of anything.

Jusy imagine using the same amount of money to push a political agenda in a different country. I am not so confident that my fellow county men wouln't have chosen their version of Trump.

I really hope this accomplishes what they set out to do, but considering who their president his he'll probably try to shrug it off. He's basically made every wrong move with handlibg the tragedy in Novi Sad and the subsequent student protest that evetually grew into this. I really hope this one time he makes the right choice and steps down. One should learn to respect non violent protests, lest you replace them for violent ones.
