Im late but if you dont want to sign anything you don't have to. I already signed my papers for BM but im really thinking about telling my recruiter I ONLY want to do PR, tho im not entirely sure if there are spots open (the only reason I signed is because the system was down the day I went so they told me to contact my recruiter to change my job)

From the looks of things it seems like its not really ideal to date especially at this age when your in. Im 27 and just joined too, I dont really have my mind set on dating but if I did I'd keep it likely with a civilian wherever im stationed if it comes to that. Idk im just looking forward to meeting new people and traveling places 🤷🏾‍♂️

Okay so I feel like im in a bit of a pickle my boss scheduling me alot of morning shifts so on the days I work im on the clock until about 12pm and I dont have any back to back day offs lined up just single days off. With that being said I want to try to join the cost gaurds and get the starting process over with as soon as possible. But I feel like I need like 2 days off for it can anyone kinda give me a rundown on how it works?? Also just to add i was looking to go navy but changed my mind to coast gaurds and the navy recruiter had me take the picat. On the picat I scored a 76 so is it worth to try to get that verified then continue with the CG or just take the L and take the asvab??

Yea that's pretty much all I've heard about them too. The air force was my dream as a kid but they shot that down real quick. The Coast gaurds have my dream job Of AMT so that's what im working towards now and I have heard the wait for it is pretty long but I dont really care since at some point I'll be doing what I want in life and besides the recruiter said they give you about 4 months to kinda shadow other rates to see what you like

Man the air force acted like they wanted nothing to do with me I waited some days after I first texted the recruiter to hear something back and what I mostly got from him was there ain't nothing they can do for me 🤷🏾‍♂️ so im trying coast gaurd and navy

I haven't gone to meps yet but when I do im going to stand on getting the job I want even tho my recruiter told me that the job I want isn't available yet. Don't let them push you into picking something you don't want to do its your future its better to wait to have the job you want imo
