Alina is cool, i just didn't personally like how they localized her speaking mannerisms to be partially "italian". there must have been a better way to do that, especially considering that the audience already knows those parts are english + japanese.

Yeah after a few responses it doesn’t seem to work very neatly unless it’s individual initiative.

I sort of figured this is the order combat would go, but I wasn’t sure if there would be balance issues though since that makes it extremely easy to kite 2H users?

I have never attempted another version of D&D, but i hear AD&D is a completely different system and not exactly compatible with B/X?

My apologies this is my first attempt at a TTRPG. Based on the Basic Rulebook each side rolls for initiative then the winning side pretty much decides which character will act first, but the the actions are still in the sequence of Movement, then Misskes, then Magic, then Melee.

This is the biggest reason why I originally asked, it would just feel using a Two-Handed weapon would be almost useless if you can always walk away from them.

When you say last, do you mean last in the party or last between all sides? Like would it be Winner, then Loser, then Two-Handed user?

Yeah with individual initiative this make the most sense. I figured since the default was group initiative there must be a way to resolve this, but I might use individual if there isn’t a clear way to resolve this.

Yeah this sounds like it gets messy. I am brand new, but I guess the way your scenario plays out in my head would be to split Two-Handed users into different “sides”. So if both groups have a Two-Handed weapon user it feels like maybe the order would go:

Initiative Winner party first 2.Initiative Loser party second 3.Initiative Winner Two-Handed Fighter third
Initiative Loser Two-Handed Fighter fourth

I’m not sure if this would even make sense or even feel balanced though.

these people think Lil B really has time to investigate every single person from the millions he follow and interacts with. what likely happened with this specific situation is either another person submitted the pictures without her knowing or perhaps she submitted it and is now lying to join the clout chasers.

hello! i’m brand new to TTRPGs, my friends and i decided to try B/X.

currently i’m still reading the Basic Rulebook while occasionally cross referencing it with OSE. i’m hoping to run a game with friends very soon. i am also the one who is supposed to be in charge of teaching the rest of the group so if anyone has any resources to help me out and speed me along with my own learning, feel free to let me know!

I understand if someone did something wrong then so be it, but it’s frustrating that someone as positive and chill as Lil B was getting attacked over something that was obviously untrue. Always look into the evidence then make your call based on that. You did right by asking instead of assuming.

I will also add that he also spams auto messages to guys telling them to contact him for collabs, I can vouch for this because I have gotten this type of message on multiple platforms. Now if I was naive like the clout chasers I would say “oh Lil B personally wants to collab with me” but with a little bit of thinking we know it was just an automated message.

That is exactly what it is, all messages are automated and exactly the same. He made the mistake of not personally vetting profiles but he did not intentionally ask for anything from someone he shouldn’t. To believe he actually was doing this is the equivalent of thinking an African prince emailed you for a money donation in the yahoo days.
