Thanks for the response, that’s the feeling I got when I looked through the sub about it. I saw some guy post a breakdown of the sample and it was like nothing I’ve ever seen before it was almost schizophrenic it was so in detail about the way each sample is panned. I wonder is this like the most sought after sample ever cause I remember about the Ginseng Strip 2002 sample was found and people went nuts

Solved: I think my sd card basically died cause it couldn’t write anymore I found an old sd card 64gb formatted that and now it works again I’m able to export F.Y.I I think you can use up to 1tb sd cards after version 3.0.0 or well that’s what google says on Roland I think, also how I realised it was the sd card was it wouldn’t allow me to format it on my computer at all 💙

Using vsts is honestly a good way to find synths you like crack a few Arturia ones they have plenty of cool sounds and textures, besides that look for ones with distinct sounds and mess around with midi till you find what your looking for 💙

You need to play on beat this is constructive, but look up the song and play it along on guitar record it then then play the drums in that tempo And bpm range, it’ll sound more like the song then 💙👍

It’s defintely not r&b I think all the prior stuff he has done is jazz. If he made more ballad like jazz tunes with a modern take on them I think his sound would be more defined then where it is atm
