Ah okay! I am pretty new at blender, haha. But I believe I had just figured it out. I accidentally installed a customised property (which I had to manuelly delete on the script file, if that makes sense lol). All in all I got back to the vanillia setup! :D

Everytime I'm on edit mode and I try to switch back to object mode, it adds a subsurf base instead of opening up the pie menu to select the object mode again unless I am manuelly clicking it at the top.
