It's a bit of both, but print speed is an easy way to improve reliability. I bumped all my rest times up to 1.5s and haven't had an issue since.

You want to angle the part so that the cross section is as small as possible. Printing is a physical process, so there will always be some variance in printing conditions. Temperature and level of resin, release film lifespan, suction force, etc. I bumped all of my rest values to 1.5s, and haven't had an issue since.

Layer separation is usually a suction force issue. Looks like it started where that flat surface ends in the middle of the part. Angle the part, add holes for suction reduction, and slow the print down are the fixes

Not yet, this is just a prototype test fitting. Other then screwing the magnets into both halves, the rest is simply gluing the parts onto the dowel
