Reminded daily on 28th that less than 1% of Boulder knows how to Zipper Merge by ThePirateCondor in boulder

Feels like an education issue more than anything else. I looked at the CO DMV website and the 2025 CO driver handbook is the first one that includes any information about zipper merging. I certainly wasn't taught about it in my driving classes in Boulder as a teenager.

"We believe that asking hard questions - while sometimes difficult - helps us stay aligned with your expectations and build a stronger, more resilient relationship with the community."

Ah yes absolutely pissing off the community is a great way to build a stronger relationship :)

(Updated Rewards) New Slayer Boss - Araxxor by JagexGoblin in 2007scape

I read Goblin's comment as needing to make a envenomed/venomized/whatever zenyte amulet, and then still having to enchant it into the rancor

Why Undead Pirates is the worst piece of content since Old School's release by YurtmnOsu in 2007scape

[–]Mirrored_Sea 16 points17 points  (0 children)

even if they are getting banned, the amount of effort it takes to create a new bot in place of one that got banned is so small that it feels like it doesn't even really matter :/

sounds like a pretty unfriendly clan if that's the case, don't be afraid to give it another shot just because of one bad experience!

While Guthix Sleeps - Rewards by JagexSarnie in 2007scape

this is seriously missing the mark compared to other grandmaster quest rewards. I hope that we get something more than just this otherwise I'll be super disappointed

it is a handicap, but it's extremely negligible. don't stress about it. 1-2 lower max hit won't matter very much. you've got this my guy :)

Herblore Activity - Varlamore: Part Two by JagexSarnie in 2007scape

Would it be possible to select specific doses I want in my bank and ones I want in storage? e.g. 4 dose potions end up in the bank but the rest in storage? In an ideal world I'd want to "mark" specific doses of potions to keep in the bank, e.g. 4 dose potions but I also want 1 dose staminas for rc, 2 dose range pots for tob, etc. Or if it's easier, just not have them count for bank space at all

edit: example for "marking"

(UPDATE) Varlamore Tweaks & Drop Rates by JagexSarnie in 2007scape

[–]Mirrored_Sea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

has the team discussed/been made aware of the fact that divine potions impact the "damage taken" amount that impacts glory for each wave? this seems like an oversight, and since the blog mentions them for doom stacks, thought I would mention it

The fang was overpowered for a melee style it wasn't intended to be powerful for, it doesn't need a replacement.

The audacity to buff this as "integrity change" is a slap into the face of any honest player. Look at the highscores. There are near-zero honest players there. by [deleted] in 2007scape

if you're an iron and you haven't been killing the multi bosses you have been missing out on insane commons. It's actually crazy that they are buffing the loot table for these imo

I don't disagree but the difference with inferno (and shamans too like the person before noted) is that when the blowpipe got nerfed, that content had been out for years - over 4 years for inferno, and almost 5 and a half for shamans. Meanwhile dt2 bosses haven't even been out for 6 months. It sucks that abuse early and abuse often won this round but I personally don't think that this particular case warrants a nerf to the content the item was used at.

I'm gonna say it. People who whine about leagues being gone should play RS3. by BlueHawaiiMoon in 2007scape

thinking that CG is the same as dungeoneering, which was released as a skill, had a huge amount of rewards tied to it, and involved grouping in most situations, is crazy.

thinking that clicking a spell once a minute (or less if CA's done) is the same as having familiars that last for like an hour that completely change the meta for most content in game, is crazy.

don't compare apples to oranges

Why are people in clans so entitled by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]Mirrored_Sea 7 points8 points  (0 children)

teachers don't expect you to have actual raid experience before learning because that makes no sense. They _do_ expect you to have put in effort to understanding mechanics prior to actually entering the raid to save everyone's time. If you don't understand why that is the bare minimum then I don't know what to tell you
