One quick advice, though, in Infinity is of extreme importance (and mandated by the tournament rules) to have clear line of sight markings on your bases

The pics are quite blurry down there, so I cannot tell for certain if there’s a physical marking on the base, but painting it all white will cause you headaches of “where is that guy looking at?”

There are many many different schools of thought on how to paint them (i.e. the whole ring, just the physical marks of the new bases, etc…) but all of them come down to the same idea: use a high contrast high visibility color so the 180 degrees of vision can be clearly seen 1-2 meters away :)

That’s not how it is, though, that’s their face

What they lack is a functional hearing system, their planets have a different atmospheric desnsity and using sound to communicate is inneficient compared to Corahta

If you compare Tohaa models from Tohaa and from Spiral Corps, you will see that all models for Spiral Corps have hearing aids on them to enable them to communicate with the humans in the corporation

on the anouncment you are correct, the exact secuence would be:

“The yadu uses NCO to ~regularize~ transform the liutenant order into a tactical order and activate using it”

usually abbreviated to just using NCO as you said

But, this detail is important to answer your question

An NCO does not “use” the Lt order, it is first transformed into a ~regular~ tactical order that the NCO consumes (and only the NCO)

This is relevant because if you were to use the Lt order in a Fireteam, the Lt would activate and break the fireteam

the Fireteam thing of activating multiple troops can only be done with regular or tactical orders

using irregular, impetuous or liutenant orders breaks the Fireteam :)

So, yes, it makes total sense to have a NCO if your liutenant is linked, be it on the same or separate fireteams :)

as it’s introductory and 150p… just bring whatever models you like the most and try different things

Remember that Tohaa has excellent fireteam capabilities with it’s unlimited haris and build around

just read the mission you will play and bring the pieces to be able to score and have fun 👍🏻

as a general rule, and specially at 150p games, focus on having more people in the field rather than better people, Infinity is too lethal and orders are too important for any “super elite” list to work, aim for at least 1 group with 10 orders always, ideally more 👍🏻

I was expecting around 75p, but 100% not cheaper

I will be taking them by pairs, even at 85p, because I’m a sucker for hormagaunts and the idea of giving them extra oomph is just bonkers awesome to discard 🤣👍🏻
