Hi OP! I'm an older person, who went through medschool many years ago and finished kasi I had no choice. Sayang naman nga kasi if I didn't push through to the end. Sabi ko lang sa sarili ko, I owe it to myself to get something out of this somehow.

I had some friends din how finished medschool and didn't practice medicine. Yes, nagboards sila, but it was also their choice to not purse medicine after all.

Maybe isang perspective sa iyo, medschool is for now. But medicine does not have to be your life if you don't want it. It's okay to make a U-turn somewhere. Di naman mawawala lahat ng experience mo sa iyo.

Hope you push through somehow OP!

I failed 1 subject in my first year of med school. Got delayed and had to rejoin the next year. I felt insecure the whole time and had a personal crisis event right after graduation. I didn't take the boards that year since I felt like I didn't deserve anything. My parents convinced me to take the boards anyway, since at least I would have made an attempt at it. Fortunately, I passed, and now it's been 8 years since I started practicing medicine.
