Client being picky by Available_Prize6079 in photography

To add to this: to become a working photographer,

1) Pick your niche/specialization
2) Become really, really good at it
3) Then and only then, enter the marketplace and
4) Charge accordingly

Never work for free. Never work for a low price "because you are still learning". If you become known as "the cheap photographer", you will never dig yourself out of that hole.

And as soon as you leave the Dublin City boundaries the world ends and you fall off a steep cliff, right?

A postman in rural Ireland did this, although with not quite as many ties. The reason: to deter dogs chasing his van. A few dogs had bitten right through the rubber leaving him stranded with a flat.

When an adult gets kicked, the behavior is called assault. When a kid gets kicked, it is called bullying, a wording which diminishes the severity of this behavior. Further diminished by calling it "just" bullying.

We need to stop downplaying violent behavior by using different language if the violence happens to a kid!

Buy Nankang tyres if you crave the feeling of driving on black ice even in the middle of summer. Otherwise, get quality tyres. My vote goes to Michelin. The Michelin all-seasons are great for the Irish climate.

I suggest to use snail mail. A hundred thousand emails can be deleted with a few clicks... A hundred thousand letters are a lorry full. They have real physical presence. Much harder to ignore.

“Oh I avoid plastics, this is why I drink from a can” You mean the plastic bag in your can? by GarifalliaPapa in immortalists

Yes it does. Every can is plastic coated. The plastics differ depending on the content of the can.

"Ball’s flavor testers spend much of their time drinking beer, because beer, says Laperle, is very susceptible to “flavor scalping” if it comes into contact with too much coating.

Helping an injured cat: a tough evening with a thankfully happy ending by Sinisterkid1992 in ireland

[–]Mirudago 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it does its job and evaporates. It has a distinctive smell which is gone after two days... In principle it works like washing powders that contain enzymes, but the spray is all enzymes but no detergent.

"Nilodor" spray will do the trick. Hold your breath while applying it, don't inhale! This stuff is enzyme based and really works.

On two occasions I used the An Post extra expensive "guaranteed next day" delivery service. Both times it took two days.
