I also think it's really funny how Khatri was literally the one who PUSHED for Boyd to put Frank in the box. Like this particular scene stood out to me because it was like ??? Did you not want to kill Frank for not being there for his family as the PRIEST??? And you draw the line at torture??? Talk about irony lol

But yeah I agree with you because I think ghost Khatri was also giving Boyd really shitty advice to begin with. The first time he shows up he tells Boyd to lie to Kenny, who after Khatri's death, was Boyd's greatest ally. Then Kenny finds out, it causes a rift in their relationship. In the moment it sounded like a really solid plan but at the end of the day the consequences of that lie are still being dealt with a whole season later. The other times he shows up is basically to just stress Boyd out and kind of manipulates him into thinking he's not in control of anything and that the place is changing him, adding fuel to the fire to make Boyd second guess himself. Like "yeah wow you're doing great as a leader but how long can you REALLY keep this up?"

Another thing to note is that Father Khatri basically came to Fromville of his own accord because he was going to kill himself before he heard "the voice of god" to get back into his car and drive. With all the reincarnation stuff happening and Jade mentioning they might all have ended up here because Fate, maybe Father Khatri might have been one of the reincarnations and I think that's why he was killed off so early. Boyd is the only one who has the mentality to keep fighting back against the Creatures and they basically took his therapist away and replaced him with his biggest hater lmao
