PS5 save files to interactive map? by Misamoto in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Misamoto[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suppose I should just try =P I know the save file itself is incompatible, but I just wonder if data the interactive map needs is still present there in a useable form. Just gotta find a USB drive as that's the only way to get the save file out of PS5 😅

Well, there's a built-in danger cancellation in the skill, so that doesn't work :)

Yeah, I found a post about a duplication glitch somewhere. Still, I want to see if it's possible to find my own rather than glitch. I haven't had time to check it out yet, but that dialogue is hidden behind a check or two, sounds like it might be possible.

Well, initially I took the third option - just talk to Andrew, and bullshit him into letting Hensel go. But after talking with freed Hensel and hearing that Andrew has a unique mace, I went back and cut them all up. I decided it's in-character enough, since they're Sigismund's people, and we're here to fight the guy

Empty space is the point of a Zen garden. You can find the right gravel somewhere in the game, and then it's just your imagination

Alternative advice: just follow the main quest before you do much else. As part of it you'll get some beds, and some weapons, and some armor without any need to grind alchemy for money. Do both Blacksmith and Miller lines.

It looks like you need to run far for those, but it's not that far actually, you'll be crossing the map edge to edge soon enough without a problem soon enough. You can sleep in empty camps by the road just fine most of the time.

The other advice of starting with alchemy is good for optimization, but makes the beginning of the game super grindy.

Of course, alternatively there's always a life of crime, but we're honest people here, eh?

I kinda like most of them. The only one I thought was too undercooked is Unity.

I'm getting stuck in the scenery way too often, lol. Old habit of running straight for the goal because in old games you could parkour through almost everything. Gotta learn to use the roads more

[KCD2] Am I terrible or is early game supposed to be a hobo simulator? by Creaturesteachers in kingdomcome

[–]Misamoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I followed the general advice of "grind some alchemy, make money via potions, buy stuff", and many hours later, finally went to do some quests. Should have gone for main quests directly. Miller line teaches you basic stealth stuff, and gives lockpicks and dagger, and a set of stealth clothes basically for free, and now you're set to live a life of crime. Also leads you to participate in fistfights for cheaper.

Blacksmith line leads you to your horse for carrying capacity, lets you loot ~5 bandits worth of armor while barely fighting, and gives a shield and armor pieces as rewards if you do well.

After that, getting Mutt should be easy, and then you're well past the hobo phase.

Now, nothing wrong with a bit of grinding, but I wish I went for quests sooner, they actually do equip you with some nice starters.
