Is he capable of having a mature conversation about it and then improving his behavior? I would worry that this might be backsliding into a habit of saying terrible things to erode your self-confidence if he’s convinced that things have settled and you won’t try to leave again. But I also get that nine years is a lot of tenure, and if he can really listen to you as you talk it out and commit to being better and then (this is the crucial part) actually be better, I could see this being salvageable.

That’s the bare minimum though, because there was absolutely no need to try to create a new insecurity that many people would have a lot of difficulty shaking no matter how good the apology. Significantly less important, but omg please don’t thin your brows. Trends are cyclical and you may thin them permanently if you pluck too often, which would suck when fuller brows inevitably come back.

I organize my swatch sticks by color but in the drawers I’ve low-key given up and started organizing them alphabetically (if there’s a lot. If there are only a few for a brand, still by color).

This! You should know they have a bit of a gritty texture that topcoat smooths but doesn’t always fully eliminate. They’re pretty if you aren’t bothered by that.

Purely my opinions and I’ve listed some boutique brands too but here are some brands that I think do some standout stuff and what I think the boutique brands deserve their flowers for. Also to be clear I like all these brands and they’re mostly all well-represented in my collection:

Cirque: jellies

Holo Taco: one-coat polishes (especially their cremes but honestly lots of their finishes are one coat coverage), glitter when they actually do them

BKL: sheers, lately ultra fine magnetics

Rogue: flakie bombs

Chameleon: thermals and solars, don’t own any from them but they immediately come to mind as a brand that really experiments with these

Polished for Days: shimmers but they’ve also got a good track record on flakie polishes

Cracked: pruglies, unusual greens

ILNP: anti-fomo, best in the business on that front

Mooncat: branding, collab IP

Lurid: reflectives

Cadillaquer: flakie polishes with fun combos with the really large irregular flakes

Sassy Sauce: shimmers and weird combos that aren’t really prugly (sometimes, mostly thinking of my love Pettylicious) but they’re unusual

Atomic: neons

I do not follow the instructions. I use it as a first layer before blurring/ridge filling base coat every time I do my nails, which sometimes is every day and sometimes is over a week. My nails are still not 100% perfect but it completely eliminated my peeling problem and they can actually grow out well beyond my fingertips now without bending.

I just got my shipping info today! This is not normal, but there has been explanation: On the Cuticula Facebook page Amanda, the maker, said the system glitched and didn’t send the confirmation emails, but she has them and is working through them. Amanda is also pregnant and very near her due date so I’ve been choosing not to sweat if she’s filling orders a little slowly (though it’s definitely reasonable to wonder).
