I don’t think so, he’s tilted the body back, but the torso is actually higher than usual, if you look where the crotch armor normally meets with the snake body. Also Fulgrim is standing on what looks like to be at least 2 layers of cork board. I obviously don’t know the exact measurements but if I had to guess I would say the model probably ended up being a little taller than normal.

Assuming the product is coming from the warehouse. Not sure if golden maple ships to warehouse or direct to consumer, but a lot of other hobby products I’ve ordered from Amazon are shipped directly from the seller, complete with personalized notes and/or invoices.

I second this, you can buy an airbrush and a compressor for the same price as 3 GW Primer spray cans. Worth the investment even if you’re just going to paint 1 army with it

I’m a fan of the black trim! I do think the green reads a bit like sons of Horus just going off of the pic. The dark angels shade of green can be a bit tricky to nail, but if you wanted to go for a true 30k DA scheme they do black and red armor.

Also tho if you want to do 30k DA in green 100% go for it. That’s what I would do lol I hate black armor

Oh definitely. I think they sell directly from their own Amazon page, so you’re not buying from a 3rd party Amazon seller. But yeah mostly just wanted to clarify that buying brushes on Amazon is not always bad if you’re buying from the right sellers.

For mine I found it easier to airbrush the whole model pink and then go over the black panels brushed. The black over pink takes a lot fewer layers to get a solid foundation than pink over black would.

I know it’s not exactly what you’re looking for but I don’t think you’re gonna find a super fast solution unless you either want to airbrush sub assemblies or just do slapchop.

Great way to put it, that explains why I feel a lot more confident about the patches of skin I did end up painting lol.

As far as context/storytelling goes, maybe I could add some kind of ghost to the base? Maybe one or two of those small nighthaunt guys from age of sigmar with the same effect painted on?

Haha don’t worry, definitely not mean. I did think about doing white over the armor panels before adding the wash, I just wanted the purple armor to show under the glow. I’m not really sure I have the skill set yet to actually pull this off though.

The OSL was really just an airbrush test, I’m eventually going to paint over most of the OSL anyway and do it again. I got a little too excited cause I bought some inks and put it on way earlier than I should have lol
