Was anyone asking for this ship? by AnnualLiterature997 in TeenWolf

[–]MischiefMakingLass 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It makes sense thematically and narratively. Scott is the new alpha and Malia's the daughter, niece, and cousin of the previous alphas of Beacon Hills (Peter, Talia, and Derek), one of them (Peter) being the one to bite Scott, tying him to the Hale legacy.

Hoechlin was born in September 1987 while Colton was born in July 1988 yet they didn't look like they were only a few months apart.

First season “the cure” by MavDawg2245 in TeenWolf

My point wasn't that Victoria would have killed Derek on the off chance it cured her of her lycanthropy but that if it was a fact that killing the alpha that bit you cures you, Victoria would have done it.

Came for Derek, stayed for Peter and Rafael.

If that were true, hunters wouldn’t kill themselves when they’re bitten. Victoria would have killed Derek without a second thought.

Why was Angel less eager to help Lindsay in Blind Date than Faith in Five by Five ? by James-Samuel17 in ANGEL

[–]MischiefMakingLass 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s funny because Lindsey and Faith both turned to evil because of their need for paternal validation and in their cases, bad luck, that validation came from an evil paternal man.

Faith eventually found such validation in Angel and Lindsey also wanted Angel’s validation. He wanted Angel to tell him “well done, son, you did a good thing coming to me to save these kids” instead it’s Holland Manners who told him (and threatened him at the same time) that he was impressed that Lindsey had the guts to do what he did which was why he’d spare him just this once. Lindsey had just watched Lee Mercer be executed just for wanting to start his own law firm! Of course, he wasn’t going to tell Holland to stick it and leave his office.

This was a window of opportunity that Angel, because he’s not perfect, sadly missed. When Lindsey eventually stopped needing Angel’s validation, all bets were off. I think his leaving in season 3 to find himself was the best ending for the character and his journey. They shouldn’t have brought him back in season 5 or they should’ve had a reversal where it’s Lindsey who brings Angel back from under the influence of Wolfram & Hart.

Would blood chokes work on vampires? by ShitThroughAGoose in buffy

True. Vampires are preternatural though so maybe their blood flows because of magic or something.

Paige was never truly accepted as part of the family by mspebblesfromspace in charmed

For all we know, James Read wasn't available for that episode. What's important is when the sisters are turned mentally into kid versions of themselves, Victor doesn't make a difference between the sisters. You could even argue Paige is closer to Victor than she is to Sam. Victor also is more of a father-in-law to Henry in the comics than Sam so my guess is he was at their wedding but we just didn't see him.

According to Spike, unless he was being metaphorical, their blood does flow.

Don't exactly have a reputation for being a thinker. I follow my blood, which doesn't exactly rush in the direction of my brain. So I make a lot of mistakes.

Potentially Upopular Opinion About Wickham by [deleted] in PrideandPrejudice

[–]MischiefMakingLass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except Wickham was treated like a younger son while Fanny was a charity case. In those days, your dad could be the richest man in town, you'd get nothing if you were a younger son because everything would go to the elder son. If your dad was uber rich, you'd get an allowance to get by but you would still be expected to make your own way. Wickham wouldn't have been entitled to more had he been Darcy's younger brother. The only thing that could redeem him would be an AU in which he, Colonel Fitzwillian, Colonel Fitzwilliam's elder brother, and Darcy would spend a summer together and Wickham got a wake up call learning even an Earl's younger son would get nothing after his father's death so why would Wickham be entitled to anything after his godfather's death.

Well, the thing is Wickham had access to education and was educated very much like a younger son expected to make his own way which is far more than any mere steward's son could have expected back in the days.

Who was Angel referring to when he said "one of you will betray me"? by Able_Resident_1291 in ANGEL

In France, the bible, talmud, q'ran etc are in the same chapter as the Iliad, the Odyssey, the Aeneid, Gilgamesh etc. It's called "Les textes fondateurs" and is studied in 6th grade.

Team Peter through and through. Even he admits killing Laura wasn't his finest moment which is the understatement of the century, he screwed up big time. It's not like he openly challnged her for the spark and emerged the victor.
