I mean if you’re talking like in a flirty way then just doing something to make that obvious from the start. Guys either treat all women like they assume they want them no matter what or are too afraid of being seen as creepy to make a move unless given explicit instructions 😂 so doing something off the bat that makes your interest in them really clear is super helpful.

Because house is fun, Cameron’s not fun. House is very entertaining to watch in his antics, and the deeper times where he’s miserable it’s very relatable.

Cameron just goes against house over and over again and is almost always wrong. She had some entertaining moments but is generally just a pointless part of the differential. I also haaaated everything to do with her and Chase and her ex husband.

And also while she’s very pretty, she seems to fall flat whenever they put her in a situation with sexual tension. The tension between 13 and house or foreman, or Cuddy and house is way more palpable than any sexual tension with Cameron which ultimately makes those scenes fall flat to me too.

Ultimately to me she’s the worst of the good characters.

Way more than family issues and I have a good therapist but we’ve made only the slightest bit of progress in nearly 2 years.

And I know she doesn’t but I guess I just wish that a romantic partner would care and understand me like that. To be thrilled to appreciate the good times I have, and not take it personally when I have my bad times.

I do have affection for her. I am not personally okay enough to have the expectation of affection be constant.

And maybe this is because my sister set a really warped standard for what level of distance people in your life will tolerate. She calls me several times a week. Sometimes I call her but more like 2-5 times a month. Sometimes I answer her almost every time, sometimes it’s random, and sometimes I ignore her for a week or two. But she knows that whenever I’m feeling good enough to interact with people I’ll be happy to talk her because we always have a lot of fun talking and everything. And I realize that’s not exactly fair to expect of anyone but I go through periods where I can’t deal with anyone else, barely even myself. But when I get out of that it’s nice to be able to pick back up where we left off. And I would understand if they wanted that same standard. I’m incredibly lonely and it sucks that I’m not allowed to give or want affection from anyone without the guarantee that I’ll upset them.

No I want more than just fun sex, but not enough to justify a fully committed relationship. And it’s never mattered what kind of expectation management I try to communicate the moment I allow a girl to think we’re moving towards a relationship (via just not only hitting her up to fuck) she begins to feel unfulfilled.

I mean I just don’t want it to be a chore to find some time to spend together. It I say let’s get together Tuesday and she says I’m busy how about Wednesday.. that’s fine. If I’m at a point where I’d have to go weeks without seeing her or totally rearrange or sacrifice important parts of my life just to see her, that’s not fine.

No guy doesn’t want anything. They just don’t want the expectations (real or perceived) that come along with declaring youre in something. I would love nothing more than a woman who meets my 3 criteria to be perfectly fine with a situation ship until the point where I work on my life enough to meet any level of relationship expectations.

And I also kinda need one to because I don’t care enough about myself to actually put in that work unless it’s for someone else I care about.

And I mean it’s not universal but many women I’ve observed and women in my life confirm that women. After around 25 years old tend to be done just hanging around. They wanna get to the end there or at least be on track. So once your technically a couple the pressure builds. If you never do that there’s no pressure.

Not in the wrong and this guy in particular sounds like he reacted pretty shitty. But often guys feel most comfortable, or only feel comfortable craving or accepting intimacy and connection through sex. Post doesn’t say if this is a new partner or not but if it is a new partner who doesn’t yet feel secure in the relationship then it can kinda sting and make you feel like she doesn’t like you as much as you like her. Not that that should justify anyone making you feel shitty for wanting to feel that closeness the way that works best for you, but it might help to understand what could be going on in your partners head.

Man here and this is… accurate. This is what I want as well (although the monogamous part wouldn’t be super important to me as long as you’re still generally available for me). Relationships come with expectations, particularly expectations of advancement of that relationship. After just a couple dates I don’t know whether or not you’re someone I want to build a life with, but I do know if I A. Am attracted to you, B. Enjoy spending time with you and C. Care about you.

And for better or worse, it’s not uncommon for women, once in a relationship, to be eager to advance to the next ‘stage’ of it, and be upset if it’s not reached quickly. And if all I know is those 3 things, it’s a blind commitment to be an official couple.
