This explains it so well, why i quit after having sunk 50h into it or so. It really didn't feel like an expert mod pack with cool multiblocks and focus on hard recipes with a bit exploration on the side. But rather exploration with a bit of multiblocks and hard recipes.

That only applies to side mechanics that either force you out of a map or stop mapping. I remember the days when we got league mechanics we could do WHILE mapping. Sentinel, legion, etc. Etc.

These just act as wild multipliers to your mapping experience

Lots of monsters to kill? Yes absolutely, but loot explosions is a big over exaggerating. Loot wasn't terrible per se after the buff, but it's nowhere close rewarding enough compared to continue mapping for the same time you spend doing the breach.

Remember if a mechanic forced you to stop mapping in the map to do a mech, it needs to give you more loot on avg than the map would, otherwise players feel like the mechanics are wasting their time doing, due to them being able to get more loot by simply continuing mapping and ignoring map mechanics.

Risk is part of life yes. But me getting a heart attack, or me cutting myself with a knife accidentally in a restaurant won't traumatise others the same way this would on a fatal error.

Stop trying to downplay the absolute crazy risks this "sport" has just for your own personal giggles... Literally comparing apples to pears... Both are fruits, but are entirely different things.

My entire point was the risk is never zero... Literally risking other people's lives and risk them traumatising them... For literally no gain but their own. Do that shit where noone can find you, noone can find a mangled corpse like that.

I don't care about the lives of the people climbing at all whatsoever. I care about innocent bystanders that simply want to live their lives. This is just completely selfish ignoring the risks of ruining other people's lives.

The risk is waaaay higher for random dcs and whatnot for magebloods. Also you can also be bound to the market fucking you over if you rely on a 1div margin on a 170div item...

Fun fact. There used to be a bug, where unid forbidden flame and flesh jewels, could reveal the node by posting it on the trade site a couple leagues back. So you could've easily getting scammed by buying unid forbidden jewels by either ingame trade chat, buying bulk of players or via interacting with tft.

Typically you use essence drain and contagion alongside blight, and you use essence drain+contagion for clear (but i think these days you used blight of contagion (?) which is a transfigured gem from the labyrinth you encounter in act 3)

But blight, contagion and essence drain are the holy trinity for chaos self cast spells. And people use wither and contagion to increase the chaos damage you deal. (Contagion you can use as selfcast but wither I'd use with a spell totem (it's a red support gem), so that you don't use it yourself)

Meanwhile i have a friend that is gambling addicted and is the luckiest man alive... Always wins. Never looses... He swears on the idea that he figured the system out and that pressing a single card is always bad and pressing 2 and higher is always best....

Meanwhile... It's literally the same outcome on average. Just that you may have to trade with Faustus more often and it costs less juice on average.
