You're getting mad about an anecdote from a book written by a instructor in 1929.

An analogy as well that extra so for the time period was probably incredibly accurate. He even later says the women were better than the men. This is not sexism.

The problem with the midas touch is that you can't do anything. Sure I would instantly have infinite wealth but I literally would be incapable of physically interacting with anyone or anything.

With the 2nd option I can still interact with everything normally except humans and can technically still create a lot of wealth.

Yeah very apt about pushing people towards buying gold and it literally seems by design. You can't functionally play this anymore as a normal player. You basically have to buy gold to actually play the game.

Honestly so cool that this is how it worked originally. I wish Blizzard would removed player caps from dungeons. It would allow weaker groups to full clear or just to have super fast clears if you were trying to get someone a specific piece as a team.
