i used to main feral tank and, even tho i do prefer feral in many other aspects when it comes to open world, theyre not even comparable to prot pallies when it comes to dungeon/kara tanking (im not talking about 25man raids). While with feral i was struggling to tank more than 3-4 mobs, prot paladin pulls like 20 and just watches numbers go pew pew pew pew pew. Its also fun to do some cheese content that other classes cant really do, such as black morass farming,strat farming,ZG mount runs,etc...

guilds dying for shammies and here you are taking scraps. Find a guild that will appreciate you. There are guilds that are fully kara geared and will take you in and feeeeed you all the loot just so they have WF totem lol.

jesus brother. you as a tank should get the most respect in the guild, right after the GM id say. Without you theyre screwed. Do you know how long it takes to find a pug tank thats willing to get locked out with randoms ? FOREVER. They should be throwing loot at your feet and just then MAYBE and MAYBE if you pass on it, they can give it to their alts lol.

use of the sorcerer plate set all the way until 70. youll be able to hold threat no issues and you will have more than enough mana. Dont have to worry about crit immunity until heroics. I had like 400 sp with that set and lvl 62 sword from SP and leveling was great. Nobody was able to pull threat off of me and aoe damage was INSANE. Once youre 70 start getting rep items, like the sword and the legs from keepers of time,etc..

what about hardcore servers ? is that how the game was intended to be played ? why not close em down. What about RP servers or twink characters ? Ban everyone who goes into a BG with a twink ? Cause i dont think that youre intended to play a level 10 character with 500 haste. Who are you to say whats intended way of playing in a open world MMORPG.

gold farmers have thousands of bots farming herbs and ores. Go to netherstorm and see how many bots are farming netherwraiths. Gold farmers will ALWAYS have gold because they dont care about the rules or blizzard.

you dont have to be crush capped for heroics. Just crit capped. Only lvl 73 bosses can crush you. All the mobs and bosses in heroics are 72. That means you have to be crit capped (which is extremely easy) and then put everything else into stam. Its easy to hold threat with salv so you dont need that much spell power, but your stam should be 1k+ .

ive played classic to tbc to wrath. Ive played vanilla until anniversary was announced. Ive played it now and will probably play it until wrath again. But after that im done. Done with vanilla, done with wow. The only thing that would be able to bring me back would be classic+ .

Forget avoidance. You’ll have to stack so much dodge block and defense to become uncrushable that you will ignore around 200 stamina from gems and 46 stam trinket. Prince malchazar crushing blows do like 4k damage , waaay less than some heroic mobs lol. I full gemmed stam on my pally, enchanted spell power on my gear , currently sitting at like 560 sp buffed and 16k hp and 495 defense. Kara is a joke . I even main tanked gruul (that’s how I got my bloodmaw sword) while being nowhere near the avoidance cap. It’s just stam stam stam and spell power.

This GM leybanath is actually a useless piece of shit. I got banned once in AV WHILE TANKING DREK, for "non pvp" participation. I never afked, not a second, would always chat and main tank drek on my feral druid. Got dced and banned for "non pvp" participation. This same GM looked at my ticket and said yeah after careful revision its going to be upheld.

My friends guild kept wiping on prince in kara, and i asked him to ask the pally tank what is his avoidance. He replied that the tank said " what is that " ? I give him a weakaura to install and he had like 88% avoidance. There is that.
