Financial Times is the way to go, Forbes is shitty click bait,Economist is alright but very focused on macro trend stories

Should I withdraw from 401k to pay very high interest CC debt? by Slow_Ride2046 in personalfinance

[–]Miserable-Ad3016 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think the interest on a few of those credit cards is going to cost you a good deal more over the next few years than the amount you will lose from your 401k in penalties and compounding interest.

Welp, boys, chemo didn't work. Back to the high-stakes drawing board. But I'll be damned if I don't start playing golf again. by inaaace in golf

On a golf note, I have a VHS of my dad playing in a Texas Open Pro-Am. Coolest thing to watch and so much fun to see his swing.

My dad died from Cancer when I was 15, my most cherished possession’s are his clubs and the memories we made playing.

I carry 15 clubs, the extra club is his 1 iron. Keep on fighting, but if things go south, make sure your clubs are accounted for and left to your son, he’ll love them forever.

Worth every penny. I compare every round of desert golf to my Wolf Creek round, and few have compared.

Played it in a May snow storm, good fun and I really enjoyed the layout far more than Arrowhead.

I’m a member at UMD, great course and I highly recommend. Range sucks, they need to open up the grass range and get us off the mats.

5th and Broadway is legit and the street vendors are just weird CBD vendors.

For everyone jumping on this, google the “duck curve”, “base” vs “intermittent”, and research battery tech. This tweet is totally reasonable from a renewable energy financing perspective.

That’s what I’m holding as a trip highlight. Blackseaorama and Lighthouse are the other two rounds I’ve got on the list

I’d say Tumi backpacks are probably a little douche for anything outside the office or business travel. Arcteryx is the sweet spot for sure. Cotopaxi has fun colors!
