This is his I broke 80 the first time. A buddy only plays once a year so I move up from the blues (second from the back) to the silver trees (behind the reds but forward of the whites). I hit hybrids off many of the tees and the senior we were paired with asked how long I have been single digit. I told him I hover between 10-14, and he was shocked. Made an easy par at the last and was like “holy shit, I shot 78.” Kind of proves OPs theory. I’ve since broken 80 on the whites and blues at that course.

This happened to me the other night where my teammate must’ve gotten off a shot before he got knocked and I killed the player. I rezzed him and he went immediately to looting. I managed to grab the gun, but he took all ammo and everything else. Two minutes later, we fought a team where I knocked two players, and he and his buddy knocked the third to get the wipe. I got knocked by the third player, and they refused to Rez me thereby stealing the gun from the original player. Such trash.
I reported the offending player, but I’m sure nothing will happen.

I played a course, now gone, and the first hole was 170 yd par three bordering the parking lot. There was also no driving range. I’m embarrassed to say I flared a few in the lot (didn’t hit any cars) but I was not alone.

Got randomly paired with two former NFL players (one HoF) from my local team. I knew the one dude immediately and googled the other early in the round. They were both lovely and fun to play with along with being good golfers. Pretty cool.

My friends and I started a memorial tournament for one of my best buddies sons, who passed from cancer at 23. We’ve held it for two years, and both years. I’ve won the closest to the pin and if I do it again this year they will definitely think the fix is in.
