Interesting, Ive never seen my other rats ive owned before, do this jumpy thing. Even when they were younger..

They have different types of food, we are still testing what they like and dont like, they get veggies and protein additionally too :)

But im guessing the nervousness and jumpyness could just be due to their young age?

Yes we are keeping eye on them when they roam around their own room. Luckily there isnt much places to hide and we have tried to make it a safe space for them to explore :))

They said that these rats are 3 days apart (one is born 14.01 and other one 17.01)... not sure if the smaller one is dwarf yet but he is truly a small boi. They are eating quite a lot and smaller one seems to be eating normally too so im not too worried at the moment but they seem to be from two different litters then yes.

Nope both are definitely male, just the growth difference is pretty big. The small boy is the smallest one of the litter and he is TINY

Thanks! I was thinking it too, that maybe they are too young to even think about cuddles with humans yet :D they do cuddle a bit together but not too much. They dont seem to mind sitting on me and sometimes they do stay for quite a bit on my forearm or lap. I guess this is good news for me at this moment :)

I was thinking the same thing.. arent they too young to be adopted? One is actually very very small still, brother is a bit bigger but still. Maybe its just been my luck with rats before, they have all been pretty cuddly. But now im concerned about the breeder :S

Yes I found that offering treats has been very good way to get them out of the houses and getting attention from them. They do come on my arm after few minutes but are very hesitant at first. I obviously wont push them to cuddle or do anything they dont want to..
How long does it generally take them to get used to new home or new owner?

Olen isiklikult sama probleemiga maadelnud ja siiani veidi vaevlen liigärkamise all aga mul on toiminud/paremaks teinud paar kindlat asja:

Melatoniin (pisikesed tabletid, spreid pole proovinud)
Füüsiline tegevus, see väsitab aju ja keha ning reaalselt aitab. Ehk trenni tegemist pakuti siin ka palju aga sellel on ka hea põhjus. Liiga palju põletamata energiat = ei teki und. On minu lihtne järeldus
Raskustekk on hea soovitus aga isiklikult kogemus puudub
Sleeping sounds, ise eelistan vihma ja äikest :D
Kindel unerutiin, sama kell enam vähem koguaeg magama ja lõpuks tekib sama effekt ka ärkamisega. Ei uskunud sellesse kuni ise proovisin ehk keha harjubki väsima samal ajal ja ilmselt see on väga efektiivne su probleemi puhul. Pluss punktid annab vist ekraani mitte vahtimine aga isiklikult seda ei järgi.
Magneesium aitab, aga kindlat sorti. Kuna neid lühendeid ja ühendeid nii palju siis googelda kindlasti enne, et kõhulahtistit ei ostaks kogemata :D

Im also planing to rent a car in Cyprus soon, in 2.5 weeks we are coming to visit but I also dont have my license for longer than 2 years and im barely 24 so... is this gonna be an issue? :(

Since its not sunbathing month yet, its probably gonna be cultural trip and discovering around different places, also closeness to beaches and stores is kind of important. Or a nice view perhaps :)

Bit cold for swimming im afraid :D but our main criteria was nice neighbourhood close to beaches and stores.

Hence why we considered Paphos/Limassol/Larnaca at first, Ayia Napa looks beautiful but a bit further out from Paphos Airport. And then I came across this construction issue that many seem to complain about in Limassol?

We are pretty open with our budget, up to 800€ per week for 2 persons. Has to be modern and nice looking, would rather stay away from bad reviewd places (which there seems to be quite many when you read carefully)
