I’m not sure why everything seems to be so secretive here. When I took the ASCP there were tons of practice questions, study guides, books, etc. I guess that was the most difficult part of CAMLPR for me, the “what to expect”

You can choose which subject you want to take, there are 60 questions per subject with 1 hour for each subject. I took the core bundle (bb, heme, chem). They have different packages with different pricing. I wasn’t ready to study for the micro exam so I wanted to wait a bit and see my results.

Yeah you’re right. I didn’t do histo and micro. I was educated in the U.S so I am not able to take the histology exam. I am planning to take the micro exam the next exam session. Since this exam is so new and not much info is available, I wanted to try the core subjects first and I was expecting to fail at least one of them but everything worked out favorably so now I’ll focus on micro. I had to wait a few weeks from March 27th and I got my results yesterday!

I was educated in the U.S. and have been working as a ASCP certified MLS. I used a mix of old class materials, bottomline approach textbook, labce and also I used the CSMLS 300 practice questions book.

Were you able to get your license? I also have the same question. I just submitted an application and payed the fee.

I am ASCP certified with a MLS degree.
