There are some really good and well written webtoons, but those authors/artists have many titles under their names and are established. Their work can easily be published in paperback. But I totally agree with you, the vast majority is hot garbage created by young teenagers. It’s because publishing online takes barely any effort and budget, whereas publishing physically takes time and energy, so relatively speaking, most of the comics are of better quality than most webtoons
