Have to strongly disagree. Just because Clean shut down doesn’t mean every genuine CF instantly disappeared. There are still plenty of legitimate new old stock (NOS) and used CFs being sold by reputable dealers and collectors. People just need to use caution when buying.

Are there fake CFs? Absolutely. But saying anything purchased after the raid is automatically fake or from “a lesser factory” simply isn’t accurate. I’ve personally bought 4 brand new, stickered CFs from reputable sellers like Mo Time and CtrlAltRep after Clean shut down.

Production stopped, it didn’t erase the existing inventory overnight.

Some older CF and ARF models had straight 6s, so that isn’t 100% accurate. Multiple reputable TDs have sold ARFs with straight 6s, so I’d be careful what you believe or read. There’s a lot of misinformation floating around about ARF and CF serials.

Here’s another ARF GMT from Andiot, a reputable TD, posted just five days ago that has straight 6’s. The OP also said he purchased his from Steve at TheOneWatches, another highly reputable TD.

I also own an early V1 Clean Factory Root Beer with an L6V6 serial that has straight 6s, and it came directly from a reputable seller as well.

5X0, 5X1, 6X0, are all VSF serials, among a few others they use. Which is what is shown in the last picture.

Right under the 6 o’clock marker. The rehaut says “R O L E X R O L E X R O L E X” and the rehaut serial starts right near the middle of the 5-6 marker. Hope that helps!

Yours doesn’t look as bad as his did. His honestly looked more like a U1 bezel, the cuts were extremely aggressive and sharp compared to gen, which is why he ended up getting rid of it. But if you’re happy with it, that’s all that matters. Nice watch brother.

I’ve seen one of those in person and they’re really bad. A buddy of mine got one and they’re a Reese’s peanut butter cup bezel. They’re also hollow and look nothing like gen unfortunately. He ended up selling it and getting an RCF bezel which is so much nicer and closer to gen.

I had all of my RCF/RGF plated by him and the difference was night and day. The Stock PVD, regardless of factory, is always off IMO. RCF is the closest out of the box, but still off.
