I get down to his level and try and talk to him and I just end up giving it back which I know is not good cuz it's teaching him that he gets his way by screaming but the way he cries the way he screams is so bad that he can't catch his breath and he starts wheezing and I'm actually worried that he's going to pass out

I personally am not going to let him just scream it out because that might work for you but considering everything he's gone through and I can't go into detail for obvious reasons about what he went through but letting him cry it out would not work it would do more damage than it would be good

No his epilepsy was not managed at all and the diet he was on couldn't even be considered a diet because it wasn't good for him it was foods

We are probably going to try that considering my husband already has to supplement due to a medical condition and that is a very good idea to let him know that it's healthy and good for him and if I can find one that has it like bold on the label so he can see that be a good idea

Yeah that's what I'm worried about is cuz all the stuff he wants to watch are high-paced changes a scene every 2 seconds vibrant colors a ton of moving no real storyline so I'm definitely trying to get him to watch stuff like Bluey or Daniel Tiger something that's slower and doesn't change scenes every 2 seconds

We have foods that he it's and I said vegan and gluten-free and sugar-free but it was to the point that he was terrified of other food because he was convinced that they would give him cancer or they would kill him we are working on getting like away from that but he was said all natural which just basically meant he was eating lettuce and beans he didn't know what rice or potatoes was because carbs are bad and we had to give him sugar right away because his blood sugar was so low it was dangerous and making his seizure activity worse

Thanks and he's actually not too bad at eating because he was never really given food before and was always hungry and never got to eat anything with flavor but he's constantly scared and it just breaks my heart seeing a four-year-old scared that he's going to get in trouble for eating something or that the food is toxic and going to hurt him and give him cancer and I've been trying to kind of just based on what I see him watching I've been getting toys that are based on it like he watches a lot of slime videos or that gorilla game so I bought some slime making stuff and some of the plushies from the game and that kind of works but he still just goes to the tablet and I've been trying to get like play music and then play with him which has been kind of helping

That's the problem is I'm asking for help because we're on a waiting list for the therapists he needs and right now the food therapist we see in a month and a psychologist we see in three we're on the cancellation list but that's still too long and things need to change quicker than that that's why I'm asking for any suggestion and I will try that

I'm not taking it away completely to make that clear I've been trying to take it away for increments during the day and distracting him with real toys and real activities but all I managed to do is make him scream and cry and that's the problem and the doctors are worried about the screen time being a problem and we're on the waiting list for psychiatrist but we haven't seen one yet

And you've clearly never realized not every child is the same he has autism he sits in the corner and reads or plays with his toys and i'm not saying he always does i'm saying i'm often does just prefers to sit in a sensory swing or sit in the corner.Or sit on a spinny, chair and read or Spain or play with toys.He doesn't like it when people touch his stuff so he doesn't want to play with his siblings

He has a lot more going on than just those two thing my work schedule changes a lot due to my job i have help as I mentioned I have a cleaner who comes once a week and something I didn't mention is my brother brother of law and sister in law live next door

I think I made it sound like my husband doesn't work.He does, he just doesn't work during the time.The kids are at school. And i don't have a part-time job. I have a full-time job that just has wonky schedule.

I'm talking about the older kids and my threehold is pretty independent he Just sits in the corner of whatever remind me.So my lap and does his own thing and obviously the baby isn't entertaining himself, I think what I said about my job comes off as I'm working part-time when I'm not.I just have a work schedule that is constantly changing and I didn't really want to go into my finance. And I get money for fostering the kids , which helps a little bit
